Couple of days back a girl kid of age 7 is raped and killed by a culprit in Eluru, West Godavari district and that guy is subsequently beaten to death. A day earlier, a 22 year old girl was gang raped at gun point in Delhi. And this rape saga continues in the land of Vedas and Upanishads.

A journalist was brutally set on fire by a politician’s goon for posting a Facebook post against him. Parents kill their daughters for pride and prestige, students kill themselves for not being able to score high marks. Still, you want to talk about dogs in China?

From a superstar like Amitabh Bachan to a struggling Telugu heroine like Seiya Gowtham, almost every are requesting on social sites to share about Yulin Festival such that China government will force stop the execution of dogs for meat. What about our girls getting raped and murdered every day? Which social share will stop them? Give a thought about it folks.

When Charan Grabbed Locket, Sudhakar Gifted One

Not many know that senior comedian Sudhakar is a film school friend of Megastar Chiru and both started their career around the same time. After a short sabbatical from films due to health issues, Sudhakar is now back to acting and we don’t know if he takes up just comic roles or character roles too.

Sharing his thoughts about watching his close pal Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan’s films, Sudhakar stated that he watched all of Charan’s movies and felt excited for him. He narrated a small incident that took place during Charan’s childhood. ‘I used to wear a locket given by my mother-in-law.

Whenever I took Charan into my arms during childhood, he used to grab that locket. Finally one day I’ve shared with my mother-in-law that the kid is liking this locket a lot. Immediately she got gold locket made with a chain, and I conveyed the same to Chiranjeevi before adoring that around Charan’s neck’, said Sudhakar.

Wow, what a pure unconditional love for friend’s son. ‘I don’t know if Chiru and Charan remember that or not’, concluded Sudhakar. If Charan is reading these lines, probably he should talk about his dad’s friend on social network at least very soon. Fans are eagerly waiting to find out what he says.

Controversial cricketer finds a director finally

At last, the controversial cricketer Sreesanth has found a director for his filmy debut. After months long talks with Tollywood directors like Puri Jagannadh and Madhura Sreedhar ended up being unfruitful, Sreesanth is finally teaming up with Sana Yadireddy, who earlier made hit films like Pittala Dora and Bachelors.

A press meet regarding the announcement of the film took place earlier today and the makers said that the film will be shot as a Telugu-Malayalam bilingual. Reports say that the film will also be dubbed into 13 Indian languages, considering the cricketer’s craze among the people from other states.

After breaking into the national cricketing scene in late 2000s, Sreesanth represented India in several tests, ODIs and T20s. However, it was in 2013 when Sreesanth was banned for life from playing any form of cricket, following his involvement in the match fixing scandal that shook the 2013 IPL in which he played for Rajasthan Royals.

5G Technology – Kya Speed Hai

Even while several smartphone users are struggling to avail the smooth services of 4G services, several electronic and telecom companies are already racing ahead in terms of mobile internet speeds. As per the latest news, ZTE, the Chinese telecom giant, has already begun developing a 5G-network enabled devices which will be launched in 2015.

In India, 4G services are being offered by the only telecom carrier, Airtel, and that too in select cities. Earlier, the 5G speed was initially poised to roll out from the year 2020.

However, International Telecommunication Union (ITU) will soon start accepting technologies to be considered for the 5G standard and the Korean authorities are striving to bring out the 5G technology to make its debut in the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Globally, 4G permits speeds from 100 mbps upto 2 GB per second. At this speed, normal films of 700 MB size can be downloaded in just a few seconds. The ZTE is planning to launch its 5G enabled mobile and other electronic variants by the year end and the enhancements will be based on the learnings of the 4G technology.

‘Raju’ Tag For Prabhas In Bollywood

It’s relatively a new experience altogether for Prabhas as he is busy promoting “Baahubali” in Bollywood circuits. Here in Tollywood we have superlatives like “Rebel Star” and “Darling” to address him but in Hindi arena generally no star is addressed with such superlatives except when media writes about them. Even in movie title, we don’t see such prefixes and suffixed before a name.

So, what Bollywood media is calling Prabhas now? Only Salman and the likes of Amir are called super stars there, while other heroes are addressed normally with their first names. And those heroes like Ranvir, Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan have no such tags attached.

Bollywood media is now writing Prabhas name as either “Prabhas Verma” or “Prabhas Raju” and that is sounding totally new for Telugu audiences. Some media persons are calling him as Megastar of Telugu cinema and later introducing him to audiences as Prabhas Varma only.

Generally we have most heroes addressed with single first name like Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Nani and Sharwanand, but never use surname or last name. But with Prabhas being called with his last name in Bolywood circuits, surely Tollywood might think about using such. Anyway, full name of Prabhas is Prabhas Raju Uppalapati.

No Investors For Jagadeka Veerudu Sequel?

Recently former producer-giant Ashwini Dutt has celebrated 25 years of “Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari” in style. He has come up with a special insights video where Megastar Chiru, K Raghavendra Rao, Sridevi and himself spoke at large about the thought and hardwork that went into making the movie. That video attracted many film lovers who got quite nostalgic about the fantasy fairy tale that adored silver screen long back.

At that time, Ashwini Dutt revealed his intentions to produce a sequel or remake, in Ram Charan and Raghavendra Rao combination. He stated that already story is fixed and they are working on other aspects. A birdie chirps that the whole video is a pitch for investors as there will be a need of nearly 60-70 crores budget to produce a humongous visual effects based fantasy flick.

It is being sad that, despite Ram Charan having huge potential at box office, investors are not coming forward due to K Raghavendra Rao handling the direction. Sounds bitter, but true.

Some investors are ready to join hands for “Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari” if Rajamouli directs Charan. As said and done, both these celebs are busy with their respective projects and they are in no mood to give bulk dates at this time for such a phenomenal film. We have to see what happens.

Wish I was part of ‘Baahubali’: Megastar

After watching the first look of “Baahubali”, megastar Amitabh Bachchan felt that some actions and frameworks used in the project can only be seen in progressive Hollywood films. He says he would have been happy to be part of this mega multilingual project helmed by S.S. Rajamouli.

During a video chat with “Baahubali” actor Rana Daggubati, the 72-year-old is seen shared his thoughts, and said that he’s simply “amazed and astonished” to see such “magnificent visuals”.

“So Rana, I feel very privileged to have seen this first look that you just shown me of ‘Baahubali’ and I am absolutely amazed and astonished that how you have been able to recreate this magnificent visual and I’m sure of course the story is equally good.

“You are working with Rajamouli and he is such a renowned talent. How did you conceive something like this. It’s just unimaginable,” Big B said.

The epic film, the Hindi theatrical rights of which have been bought by Bollywood’s hit filmmaker Karan Johar, will be released in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, English, French and several foreign languages.

Featuring actors Prabhas Varma, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah in the lead roles, “Baahubali” is scheduled to release on July 10.

Big B also shares that how he feels really small in front of project like this.

“I feel so small in front of something like this because it’s a great effort. I doubt if anything like this have been seen on Indian cinema before and I hope that million and million of people can see this effort that has been made because its truly unimaginable.

“We normally see this kind of structure and this kind of action or whatever the framework is in some of the more progressive Hollywood films but to have to see this here in India is amazing,” said the thespian, who feels honoured to be part of an industry that is “inventing and making such fantastic material”.

“I should haven been in this project also,” he added.

Amitabh is also sure the movie will have a massive audience, and he has wished the film’s team “all the very best”.
