Heroine Keerthi Suresh is going places in Kollywood now. Very soon this Mallu import is going to dazzle on Telugu silver screen also. She will be seen as leading lady of hero Ram in upcoming “Hari Katha” (tentative title) which is being directed by Kishore Tirumala. Currently this hottie splashed to top of the columns because of her ‘conditions’ related to exposing on silver screen.

In fact his Mallu beauty happens to be a hardcore fan of Tamil hero Surya and in several interviews she revealed that she is waiting for a chance to work with him. However, even if it Surya, glamour will not be her forte. “I took decision of grabbing movie offers purely with my acting prowess, but not with skin shows. Even if I get a chance in Surya’s movie, I’ll not romance him in skimpy outfits. That’s the bottom-line”, said Keerthi Suresh in an exclusive interview.

Coming from a filmy family, where her mother happens to be former heroine Menaka while father is popular producer Suresh, cutie Keerthi giver preference for roles that have substance rather just song and dance routines. That means, this young girl wants to fall in the lines of Nitya Menon and other Mallu babes. Let’s see what kind of reception Tollywood gives her.

It’s relatively a new experience altogether for Prabhas as he is busy promoting “Baahubali” in Bollywood circuits. Here in Tollywood we have superlatives like “Rebel Star” and “Darling” to address him but in Hindi arena generally no star is addressed with such superlatives except when media writes about them. Even in movie title, we don’t see such prefixes and suffixed before a name.

So, what Bollywood media is calling Prabhas now? Only Salman and the likes of Amir are called super stars there, while other heroes are addressed normally with their first names. And those heroes like Ranvir, Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan have no such tags attached.

Bollywood media is now writing Prabhas name as either “Prabhas Verma” or “Prabhas Raju” and that is sounding totally new for Telugu audiences. Some media persons are calling him as Megastar of Telugu cinema and later introducing him to audiences as Prabhas Varma only.

Generally we have most heroes addressed with single first name like Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Nani and Sharwanand, but never use surname or last name. But with Prabhas being called with his last name in Bolywood circuits, surely Tollywood might think about using such. Anyway, full name of Prabhas is Prabhas Raju Uppalapati.

Recently former producer-giant Ashwini Dutt has celebrated 25 years of “Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari” in style. He has come up with a special insights video where Megastar Chiru, K Raghavendra Rao, Sridevi and himself spoke at large about the thought and hardwork that went into making the movie. That video attracted many film lovers who got quite nostalgic about the fantasy fairy tale that adored silver screen long back.

At that time, Ashwini Dutt revealed his intentions to produce a sequel or remake, in Ram Charan and Raghavendra Rao combination. He stated that already story is fixed and they are working on other aspects. A birdie chirps that the whole video is a pitch for investors as there will be a need of nearly 60-70 crores budget to produce a humongous visual effects based fantasy flick.

It is being sad that, despite Ram Charan having huge potential at box office, investors are not coming forward due to K Raghavendra Rao handling the direction. Sounds bitter, but true.

Some investors are ready to join hands for “Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari” if Rajamouli directs Charan. As said and done, both these celebs are busy with their respective projects and they are in no mood to give bulk dates at this time for such a phenomenal film. We have to see what happens.

After watching the first look of “Baahubali”, megastar Amitabh Bachchan felt that some actions and frameworks used in the project can only be seen in progressive Hollywood films. He says he would have been happy to be part of this mega multilingual project helmed by S.S. Rajamouli.

During a video chat with “Baahubali” actor Rana Daggubati, the 72-year-old is seen shared his thoughts, and said that he’s simply “amazed and astonished” to see such “magnificent visuals”.

“So Rana, I feel very privileged to have seen this first look that you just shown me of ‘Baahubali’ and I am absolutely amazed and astonished that how you have been able to recreate this magnificent visual and I’m sure of course the story is equally good.

“You are working with Rajamouli and he is such a renowned talent. How did you conceive something like this. It’s just unimaginable,” Big B said.

The epic film, the Hindi theatrical rights of which have been bought by Bollywood’s hit filmmaker Karan Johar, will be released in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, English, French and several foreign languages.

Featuring actors Prabhas Varma, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah in the lead roles, “Baahubali” is scheduled to release on July 10.

Big B also shares that how he feels really small in front of project like this.

“I feel so small in front of something like this because it’s a great effort. I doubt if anything like this have been seen on Indian cinema before and I hope that million and million of people can see this effort that has been made because its truly unimaginable.

“We normally see this kind of structure and this kind of action or whatever the framework is in some of the more progressive Hollywood films but to have to see this here in India is amazing,” said the thespian, who feels honoured to be part of an industry that is “inventing and making such fantastic material”.

“I should haven been in this project also,” he added.

Amitabh is also sure the movie will have a massive audience, and he has wished the film’s team “all the very best”.

Producer Bandla Ganesh who is caught in a soup due to the check bounce and cheating case filed by Actor Sachin is missing from the twitter buzz these days.

Bandla Ganesh used to be a busy bee on the micro blogging website with his ‘blockbuster’ tweets. Ganesh is yet to respond on Sachin’s allegations.

Meanwhile the actor is continuing to attack Bandla Ganesh on the public platform by tagging the producer.
