Accusing Telugu Desam party president and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of amassing wealth for his family and not for the State, Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Friday slammed the former for his meaningless remarks against the TRS Government.

Talasani said the so-called Mahanadu was meant to shower praises on Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh, who is a “twitter bird”.

He expressed displeasure over Chandrababu not leaving Hyderabad even after a year and abstained from making it to new capital in Andhra region.

Asking Naidu whether he saw his own image in the mirror anytime, Talasani alleged that Chandrababu built Hitec City along with Heritage Company and earned wealth besides purchasing assets in Madhapur and Kondapur.

In a lighter vein, Yadav asked whether Chandrababu created Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills. He also alleged that Naidu was indulging in making wild remarks against the TRS leaders and Telangana Government.

The Telangana minister also asked Chandrababu to reveal of how much wealth he got for AP development so far. Yadav ridiculed Chandrababu for repeatedly claiming to have developed Hyderabad, which was already developed by all other chief ministers.

“The TDP should refrain from making derogatory remarks against the TRS Government”, he suggested.

It seems like that after seeing series of events that happened yesterday in Botsa Satyanarayana house. Former PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana was denied the rumors of change in political party from Congress to YSRCP in recent past. Bosta was condemned the rumors amid of PCC Chief Raghuveera Reddy. Now the situation is completely different.

Botsa all set to make arrangements to jump into YSRCP but there is no clarity on date of joining. We (APherald) already wrote an article on Botsa joining into YSRCP with some conditions. Botsa wants immediate MLC along with floor leader in Legislative Council and complete rights on YSRCP in three northern districts (Visakahapatnam, Vizaianagaram and Srikakulam).

There were reports that Jagan and other YSRCP leaders not agreed his demands. It seems that YSRCP has agreed Botsa’s demands. YSRCP has no option to invite strong leader like Botsa to lead the party in three northern districts. Yesterday, Ongole MP YV Subba Reddy and YSRCP General Secretary Vijay Sai Reddy went to Botsa house and discussed on developments.

Botsa confirmed himself the discussions to the media. As per buzz, entire Botsa family (Wife and brother) might join in YSRCP in June month. Bobbili YSRCP MLA Sujaya Ranga Rao is not digested Botsa entry into the party.

Botsa was the first person to sign for making Jagan as CM after the death of YSR. The same Botsa lashed out Jagan’s inside agreements in his corruption cases. Let’s wait and see how the YSRCP cadre in three northern districts will receive Botsa.

On the other hand, we have another PK, Pawan Kalyan who despite being an earthling is as rare as an alien in his political announcements and activity despite having started a political party.

Anyway, the nativity of the concerned players is not the objective of this piece. Rather it is the comments made by Chandrababu at the ‘Mahanadu’.

He called the opposition Parties ‘rakshasas’ for trying to create hurdles to his yagna of constructing a world-class capital for AP.

Is it wrong to stand up for farmers whose lands are being grabbed against their will in the name of development? Not an acre or two but 33000 acres in Tulluru region alone not to speak of 15000 acres in Bhogapuram etc. Who is the real rakshasa here?

And incidentally, Pawan Kalyan feeling bored on a Sunday afternoon tweeted that he would oppose any moves by the government to acquire the farmers’ lands forcibly. Does that make him a ‘rakshasa’ as well, Naidu? Please clarify!

Right after the formation of Telangana, people started competing for virtually everything to bag the top honours in various fields. KCR led Telangana Government decided to celebrate first anniversary of Telangana formation by honouring celebrities in 18 categories giving Telangna awards.

Though there was lukewarm response from many who were averse to go through the form filling process, many however started heavy lobbying through ministers,MLAs,MPs etc seeking recommendation letters.

Many feel with this the very purpose of honouring merit will be lost. An MLC teacher said “Most applicants for the best teacher awards are coming to us on the ground that they took active part in the TS agitation since 2009. Though we are trying to convince them that these awards are not about the agitation, they refuse to see the point and are demanding awards,”
