Balayya’s thigh slap on Police at Mahanadu!
Cine actor and Hindupur MLA, Nandamuri Balakrishna had showed his heroism to the Police at Mahanadu. Balakrishna was asked to park his car in the VIP parking area and walk up to the event venue. But Balayya refused to that and asked his driver to drive to the main entrance of Mahanadu.
Chandrababu’s decision leads to 2300 crore loss for AP
Buckling to the relentless pressure from many of the private power project developers, the Andhra Pradesh government has reportedly issued orders for withdrawing the current rate of Value Added Tax(VAT) on re-gassified Liquefied natural gas or RLNG.
The gas is currently being supplied to private promoters by companies like Gas Authority of India Ltd (GAIL) and Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Limited while the AP commercial taxes department has issued GO No. 181 and 182 earlier this week for exempting VAT on RLNG as well as bio-gas for two years.
The exemptions are estimated to result in a staggering loss of revenues worth Rs 2,300 crore revenue to the AP exchequer for a two-year period. The TDP government says that it is now providing this exemption for joining the gas pooling system which has been launched by the Centre for availing the RLNG supply by means of e-bidding.
This decision comes after the commercial taxes department earlier warned that the proposed VAT exemption on gas would result in losses of Rs 1,100 crore per annum for the state and also cautioned how such a move would only benefit the private power companies.
But energy department officials were reportedly able to convince chief minister Chandrababu Naidu to agree for the VAT exemptions as stranded power units can be resuming operations by availing RLNG that would be supplied by GAIL and GSPCL.
Biggest Danger ahead of Pandaga Chesko!
Energetic Hero Ram’s Pandaga Chesko is all set for a grand release on 29th of this month. It is revealed that the movie is 2 hours and 43 minutes long which is very high by normal standards. If at all the movie garners negative talk, the length will prove to be detrimental for the film.
Post Kandireega, Ram is struggling in his career and has three back to back failures – Endhukante Premanta, Ongole Gitta and Masala. He is eager to make a comeback with this film. Rakul Preet Singh and Sonal Chauhan are playing the female leads in this film.
Balupu fame Gopichand Malineni is wielding the megaphone for this movie. He had got a tag of minimum guarantee director off late. His last film, Balupu is a blockbuster. ‘Simha Producer’ Parchuri Kireeti is producing the film on his United Movies banner.
Touted to be a full length entertainer, the film has music scored by Thaman. Kona Venkat has penned the dialogues. Arthur A.Wilson will be cranking the camera.
Ram almost killed Balayya’s Heroine!
Sonal Chauhan who paired up with Nandamuri Balakrishna in Legend and Lion, is romancing Ram in his Pandaga Chesko. The actress however reportedly had a life threatening accident in the shooting of the film which almost had her heart in mouth.
It happened when the movie unit is shooting a song in Portugal. They are shooting a song on a hilly terrain. There was a shot where Sonal had to do a dance move standing on the edge of a cliff with Ram at a distance from her.
Suddenly there was a heavy wind blow during the shot that Sonal almost and slipped but fortunately regained her balance. The actress claims the indient to be the most scary and memorable experience in her life.
Pandaga Chesko is gearin up for release on May 29th. Inside sources say the movie is high on entertainment and is most likely to work well at the box office.
Kick-2 Postponed yet again!
Mass Maharaja Raviteja’s Kick-2 is postponed yet again. The film was to be released on May 7th and was postponed to June 12th stating a delay in the post production works. But now they say the movie is postponed yet again to the second half of June. They are yet to finalize the exact release date.
Kick-2 is not exactly a sequel to Kick but Ravi Teja will carry some continuity from that film to this one. The director promises that Kick-2 will be more entertaining than Kick. Rakul Preet Singh plays the female lead while Thaman composes the music.
This is the first production venture of Kalyan Ram with another hero than himself. It is interesting to note that it is Kalyan Ram who introduced Surrender Reddy with his blockbuster movie, Athanokkade. Vakkantham Vamsi who penned Kick is also the writer of this film.
Get ready for Tamannah’s glamour fest!

Sampath Nandi who was supposed to direct Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh-2, came back to Ravi Teja with Bengal Tiger after Pawan’s refusal. It is said that Ravi Teja will be playing a police officer in this film too. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 18 September 2015 coinciding with Vinayaka Chaviti.
