Unlike many actors, Nithya Menon is one down-to-earth girl who is pretty clear about her place in the industry.

Only recently, her Kannada film Mynaa released along side her Tamil film Ok Kanmani. However, when she was asked as to what sets her apart, Nithya said that there was absolutely nothing out of ordinary in what she doing. However, she said there were a lot of people who cannot act.

She maintains that she has a basic qualification to act and feels that is nothing awesome. I simply think I have the basic thing to be an actor and to do my job, she says.

Yes, she confesses that standards are surely not very high and every one is becoming a super star these days. And in her true style, Nithya maintains that she is just an actor.

Lizzy was a popular heroine in the late 80’s and 90’s in the South. She also acted in Telugu films of which two of her movies with Suman, ’20 Satabdham’ and ‘Atma Bandham’ did good business.

Lizzy got married to film director Priyadarshan and the duo led a happy life for about 20 years.

Recently, however, the duo decided to part ways and got divorced. Though the reason for their split is not known, here’s an interesting bit of news.

While Priyadarshan is still busy with films, Lizzy has announced that she will soon write her autobiography in which she will reveal details of her personal life apart from her experiences as an actress an life in the industry. Now that should make for a really interesting read.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Bengal Tiger seem to be a hot cake in the trade. Even before the release of a single pic from the movie, the Hindi rights of the film were sold and they have fetched a mamoth sum of 2.35 Crore. This is the highest ever paid for any Ravi Teja’s film.

Sampath Nandi who was supposed to direct Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh-2, came back to Ravi Teja with Bengal Tiger after Pawan’s refusal. It is said that Ravi Teja will be playing a police officer in this film too. Tamannah and Raashi Khanna are the female leads in this project.

The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 18 September 2015 coinciding with Vinayaka Chaviti. KK Radha Mohan will be producing the film under his Sri Satya Sai Arts banner. He earlier produced Sampath Nandi’s debut movie, Emaindhi Eevela which was a big hit back then.
