Megastar In London For Her Convocation
What we heard and believed for days is that Megastar Chiranjeevi is in London to work on his fitness part as he want to start the shooting of his landmark 150th movie at the earliest. But not just her rejuvenating thing, there is a family trip angle to his visit to the grand old city of Great Britain.
It came to light that Megastar’s younger daughter Sreeja is doing her Masters in UK. At highly regarded Coventry University’s London campus she finished her Masters and the other day it happens to be convocation day.
Both Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha went to London to grace their daughter’s convocation and enjoy the fascinating moments. Children graduating from a foreign university is not a small thing for us Indians irrespective of the big position we’re here back in our homeland.
On the flip side, rumours have emerged that Chiranjeevi is taking some special therapy in London to get his body into a fit position. They may hold true or not, but with Sreeja’s snaps with father and mother flooding all over internet, sure we have to believe this.

It’s Daganadu, Not Mahanadu!
Nobody can beat Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in deceiving the people. This was stated by APCC Chief N Raghuveera Reddy on Monday.
Participating in a conference held on ‘Special Status to AP’ here on Monday organized by Students JAC, Raghuveera charged Chandrababu with betraying the people in all aspects forgetting the assurances given by him during the elections.
He suggested to the TDP to conduct ‘Dagaanadu’ instead of ‘Mahanaadu’, and discuss how Chandrababu had deceived TDP founder president NTR and NTR’s untimely death.
He remembered that former MP Daggubati Venkateshwara Rao wrote a book named ‘Oka Charitra-Konni Nizaalu’ in which one could find as to how Chandrababu deceived Nandamuri Harikrishna and others also.
Raghuveera asserted that Chandrababu made Junior NTR to roam every village during 2004 elections but now the latter kept him away to promote his son Lokesh.
“One has to give ‘brief case’ to Chandrababu and ‘suit case’ to Chinna Babu (Lokesh) to get the government works done. ‘Brief case’ and ‘suit case’ government is running in Andhra Pradesh State”, he alleged.
Former PCC president Botcha Sathyanarayana has demanded Chandrababu to make a resolution on ‘Special Status to AP’ in the ensuing Mahanadu and mount pressure on the Centre.
The TDP government has to fix a deadline to Centre in regard to ‘Special Status to AP’, he said and alleged that Chandrababu government failed in all aspects in its one year rule.

Will Errabelli meet KCR soon?
At the upcoming ‘Mahanadu’ of the TDP to be held in Gandipet,Hyderabad, the President of the Telangana TDP is all set to be announced. The major contenders without any doubt are Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Revanth Reddy. According to reports, Revanth Reddy is the favorite contender given his closeness to Nara Lokesh.
Moreover, Revanth is again being seen as the only opposition politician apart from Congress party’s Shabbir Ali who are consistently lashing out at auto cratic rule of KCR and family. Naidu is planning to appease the powerful Reddy lobby in Telangana region.
TDP also offered MLC ticket recently under MLA quota to Vem Narendra Reddy , reportedly backed by Revanth who inturn enjoys backing of the Nara family. Errabelli had met KCR twice already and he is now upset that Babu might most likely choose Revanth for the top post.
Sources say that in case Revanth is made T-TDP chief, then Errabelli may have to take a decision and he may meet KCR thrice, after TRS coming to power. At the same time there are others who say that this may not be the case. Either Revanth may be pushed back for a chance next time or Errabelli Dayakar Rao may have to simply keep quiet if Revanth is indeed chosen.
When Kamal Could Do, Why Not We?
His latest movie ‘Uttama Villain’ is still reeling in our minds, forget about the result of the flick. And then he comes to Hyderabad to kick start his next ‘Cheekati Rajyam’ in no time. If a senior most hero like Kamal Haasan could start his films in just months gap, why is taking years for our heroes?
Other than Mahesh, reigning top stars like Pawan, Charan, NTR and Bunny are taking almost 5-7 months time to kick-start their new projects these days. We do agree that their movies are much high budgeted than that of Kamal’s, so these heroes will take time.
Obviously they could take time, but these heroes could discuss about the story of another film when the shooting of their present film is going on, right? What for they need 5-7 months gap in between? Also in this gap most are changing hair styles but not physically altering their torsos. For that, this much gap is not needed.
Only if stars heroes work faster like employees of a corporate company, probably more films will come and more people will find their livelihood in Film Nagar. When a senior like Kamal is pulling flicks at such rate, there is need for our youngster to draw inspiration from him.
Mega Hero Felt Touchy, Mahesh’s Heroine Cried
Two different films have created similar emotion for two different people. One happens to be mega hero Allu Sirish who watched a film on woman empowerment, while other one is Mahesh Babu’s heroine Kriti Sanon who witnessed the girl power, twice.
Apart from pumping iron in gym to carve out that muscular six pack body, Sirish is finding time these days to hit theatres and catch up some best movies. The other he happened to watch Jyothika’s comeback flick “36 Vayadhanilie” and the youngster showered appreciation over the flick. Especially he liked the way how director dealt the subject without going too preachy though he highlighted woman’s empowerment. As the film touched him, he congratulated Jyothika and producer Surya.
Coming to Kriti Sanon, she is busy with her various Bollywood assignments in Mumbai. However she made sure that “Tanu Weds Manu Returns” will be her pick on Sunday and felt emotional after watching the movie. Especially the two roles played by Kangana have made Kriti cried a little sometimes. She felt happy after coming out of the theatres.
“36 Vayadhanile” will be soon getting dubbed into Telugu, while we don’t know if hero Sunil is gearing up to remake Kangana’s movie under the title “Mr Pellikodudu Returns”, as he made Mr Pellikoduku earlier basing on Tanu Weds Manu.
INSIDE STORY: Rajamouli dumps Brother for money!
SS Rajamouli and his cousin brother, Keeravani always work together. They together have worked for all the Rajamouli films till date. Keeravani’s excellent back ground score in fact helped to elevate several scenes in Rajamouli’s films.
However Rajamouli dumped Keeravani this time for money. Usually the senior musician takes the audio rights of all his films. His ‘Vel Records’ will be releasing the audio in to the market. It is the case with Baahubali too. But in the last minute, Lahari Music label offered a whopping 3 Crore offer to Telugu and Tamil audio rights of the film.
The figure is so irresistible that Rajamouli dumped Keeravani and Vel Records and gave those rights to Lahari with out second thoughts. However sources close to Rajamouli say that he talked to Keeravani before taking the decision and convinced him for it. Sources say Keeravani got a little share for parting with his rights.
On the other side, the audio release event of the movie will take place on 31st of this month. The bigwigs of the Indian film industry are invited for the event which will take place in Hitex Open Grounds after the makers were refused a permission in LB Stadium. TV5 Channel had bagged the audio telecast rights for a whopping 1.5 Crore and Actor Nani will anchor the entire event.
Baahubali Targeting CM’s Pocket?
That might sound shocking, but upcoming multi-crore budgeted flick “Baahubali: The Beginning” is targeting CM’s pocket. You may think, it’s ‘Chief Minister’ or ‘Common Man’, but it’s both. Sometime back actor-producer Nagarjuna spoke about this proposal in media chats and now Rajmouli and his producers are hell-bent in getting that implemented.
According to grapevine, Baahubali producer Shobhu Yarlagadda is planning to meet Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao once he returns from USA. Through Cinematography minister Talasani, Baahubali producers and other biggies want to meet TS government to get a GO passed regarding this move. Once the government passes it, then distributors will talk to exhibitors and theatre owners to implement the hike.
We hear that prices of tickets will be doubled on Friday, Saturday and Sunday while it remains little hiked on weekdays. As of now multiplexes are charging 150 Rs and single screens nearly 75 Rs per ticket, this could get doubled on weekends. Already the same system is being implemented in India’s Tier I cities like Mumbai and Bangalore.
Coming to this targeting we are talking about, if ticket prices are hiked that way then middle-class audiences will find tough to afford for a weekend movie at a multiplex. Including ticket costs, online charges and pop-corn with soft drink, a family of four has to spend 1500 rupees for a movie on weekend. With that price, they could pay their electricity and cable bill for sure. Surely if Baahubali gets the move approved, then it will target Common Man’s pocket. Also if people dislike the move of TRS government, then it will be targeting Chief Minister’s pocket in the form of votes. Isn’t it?
