Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan were friends since they together acted in the commercial of Thums Up few years ago. On the occasion of Salman Khan getting 5 years jail term in the 2002 hit and run case, Chiranjeevi came in the defence of Salman Khan.

Speaking to scribes after the judgement, Chiranjeevi said “It is not an intentional one, its an accident. Courts should note it”. “It hurts me to see the plight of my friend. But I hope he will find some respite in high court”, added the Megastar. Chiranjeevi also dispelled the doubts over pending projects.

“Salman will find a way of finishing all the existing commitments”, Chiranjeevi expressed his confidence. Salman Khan was taken in to the custody of Police as soon as he was convicted. Salman Khan’s lawyers will appeal in the Bombay high court for the bail of the actor.

Ram Charan’s father also responded on similar lines on the judgement. On the other side, Bollywood is going berserk over the veredict. It is said that there are investments worth 200 Crore by various production houses, corporate companies for taking his commitments till 2017. Now all of those hang in air!

Salman Khan had fielded a fake witness, Ashok Singh, his driver who admitted that it is he who drove the car that night. But the judge refused to believe it and decided that it was Salman who drove the car under the influence and with out a license.

Ashok Singh was also reprimanded for trying to fool the court. Salman Khan was shocked by the sentence as it was pronounced, sits down and breaks down into tears The case was booked under Section 304 Part II (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and the maximum jail term in such case will be up to 10 years imprisonment.

On the other side, Salman Khan’s case of hunting the rare Blackbucks 16 years ago is also nearing completion.

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu began a fresh schedule today in Hyderabad. Few important scenes of the film will be canned in this little schedule in Ameerpet and Aluminium factory. The movie unit will be flying to Europe on 15th May where they will shoot for three songs in Italy, Rome and Spain.

The makers have set a target of completing the entire shooting part by June 12th. Earlier the makers have announced July 17th as the movie release date but they are not sure now as Baahubali is releasing a week ahead. The dubbing works of the film began from yesterday.

According to the latest update, the makers are working on the first look teaser on May 31st on the eve of Superstar Krishna’s birthday. Koratala Siva had to struggle a lot to take his second film on to sets even after delivering a blockbuster like Mirchi with his first.

Mahesh Babu is also raring to go at the box office especially after those back to back failures with 1-Nenokkadine and Aagadu in 2014. Srimanthudu is being planned for July 17th release on the occasion of Ramzan. Shruti Hassan is romancing Mahesh Babu in this film, she was last seen shaking her booty for an item song in Aagadu.
