modi

Earlier, hero Sivaji was the one who supported the BJP during the elections and believed that Narendra Modi will bring change in the country. Now, the scenario has been completely changed. Sivaji sat down for an indefinite hunger strike and today being the third day, he made some shocking comments about Narendra Modi and the BJP government’s attitude over the Special status plea.

Sivaji seems to be on fire and the said “Narendra Modi made many promises during the elections time but now is ignoring the state problems. Narendra Modi and BJP party has cheated the Andhra Pradesh people and played with the sentiments of the people here.” Sivaji said that BJP is only thinking about the political figures and nothing about the state’s well-being.

Remembering Modi’s words that he would build an extra-ordinary capital that will make even the Delhi public jealous but now is ignoring about the special status grant. Sivaji warned Modi that BJP can manage to get votes next time only if the Special status is granted. The support to the indefinite fast has been swelling day by day while a few political leaders call it a publicity stunt.

Who Will Invest Rs 400 Crores On Dasari?

Share

dasari1

Okay looks like it’s the season of heavy budget films in Tollywood.

First it was Baahubali, Rajamouli’s mega project which is being made with a budget of Rs 150 crores and now veteran film-maker Dasari Narayana Rao is said to have said, of course, off the record to friends that he is planning to make a mega film with a budget of Rs 400 crores.

Yes, apparently, that’s the figure he has in mind. Well, that immediately leads to the next question – so what is the subject for such a huge budget?

Since Tollywood cannot and will not compete with Hollywood to make science fiction films, they tend to pick mythology or historicals when they decide to make mega budget films.

Apparently, Dasari plans to make a film based on Mahabharatha for Rs 400 crores. Well, that sounds interesting as an idea but it does not stop there.

His whole idea is to make four parts each costing Rs 100 crores. As for the finances, Dasari reveals that some international film production corporates are ready to invest on his project.

However, if one looks at the career of Dasari, one can say that he is truly a maker of small films. Despite giving some blockbusters with NTR and ANR, he would make small films simultaneously and he would also make hits out of them.

He always fought for the cause of interesting small films that would get the audiences to the theatres.

Even after he stopped directing films, he makes it a point to attend the functions of small film-makers and talks in support of them. He had told on many occasions that there is no industry without small films.

In fact, thanks to his small films, some of which he starred in and some of which he made with others, Dasari went on to make the maximum number of films vis-à-vis his contemporaries. Even his last film Errabassu belongs to this category.

Given this backdrop, wonder which production house will come forward to invest on Dasari? Will his dream project materialize ever? In an industry that is ever changing, only time will tell if he can pull off his dream project.

Reading 80K Books? KCR Must Be In Guinness!

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao deserves a prominent place in the Guinness Book of World Records, if what he claims is really true. The TRS president the other day said he never wanted to become a politician, but a litterateur.

He said he was a voracious reader and claimed that he had read more than 80,000 books so far. This claim is now being countered by his critics. “He should have used simple mathematics before making such a tall claim,” a rival political leader observed. And he gave an explanation for calling KCR’s claim a humbug.

“Assuming that it takes four for a person to read a book, he can at the most read three books in a day, after deducting hours of sleep and other activities. Thus, in a year, he can read at the most 1,000 books. It means, to read 80,000 books, he should have been 80 years by now. But KCR is only 61 years.

Assuming that he had started reading books from the age of 11 years, he must have completed only 50,000 books at the rate of 1,000 books a year,” the politician calculated. Even if KCR had read 50,000 books during his life time, he truly deserves entry into the Guinness Book of World Records, he said.

Lokesh meeting with Obama, just a hoax?

The pro-Chandrababu Naidu media went ga ga over his son Nara Lokesh Naidu’s scheduled meeting with US President Barack Obama on May 7.

They also mocked at Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao, who had also gone to the US but failed to get an appointment with the US President.

However, according to latest reports, the so-called meeting of Lokesh with Obama was just a hoax and a publicity stunt.

A report published in Namasthe Telangana, mouth piece of TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao, says that Obama had not given any appointment to Lokesh.

All that Obama did was to throw a dinner party and those who want to take part in dinner would have to pay money.

So, our Lokesh Babu had bought a seat in the dinner meet by paying 10,000 US dollars and thus, would get a chance to shake hands with Obama.

And Lokesh will ensure that he would get a photograph clicked with Obama and the pro-Naidu media will splash it on the front page, saying Lokesh had a one-on-one meeting Obama to brief him about the massive development taking place in Andhra Pradesh and plans to construct the new capital!

Where Are Your Morals, Mr KCR?

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao preached high morals to his party functionaries at the three-day training camp at Nagarjunasagar, but what he is practicing is highly immoral.

This was stated by Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy at Congress Legislature Party office on Tuesday.

He said he was a bit surprised after hearing KCR’s speech in the valedictory function of orientation programme of TRS workers on Monday wherein the TRS chief spoke about morality, ethics, commitment, corruption and good governance.

“KCR appeared like a changed man when he spoke about morals, ethics and corruption. However, within 40 minutes after the conclusion of the event, KCR addressed a public meeting in Ibrahimpatnam which was organised by local MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy, who defected to TRS from TDP. Is it not unethical to promote defections in other parties?” he asked.

Stating that so far, KCR has lured 12 MLAs and 13 MLCs to his party-fold, the Congress leader blamed the TRS chief of practising most unethical politics ever.

“If KCR really believes in ethics and morals, then he should ask all 12 MLAs to resign and seek fresh mandate,” he demanded.
