As the nation unites behind the Indian Armed Forces amid Operation Sindoor against Pakistan, Jana Sena Party president and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has initiated a spiritual gesture to show solidarity with soldiers deployed at the front lines.
In a public statement issued on Friday, Pawan Kalyan described the military operation as a “Dharma Yuddha” (righteous war) and appealed to citizens across India to offer prayers for divine strength, protection for the armed forces, and blessings for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is leading the country through this critical period. He emphasized that India’s tri-services are equipped with immense strength and cutting-edge technological capabilities, making them fully prepared to restrain enemy forces and defend the nation’s sovereignty.
Representing the Jana Sena Party, Pawan Kalyan announced that special prayer ceremonies will be conducted next Tuesday at six prominent Subramanya temples in Tamil Nadu—Tiruttani, Tiruchendur, Palani, Thirupparankundram, Swamimalai, and Pazhamudircholai. One local MLA and groups of Jana Sainiks will be present at each location to carry out the rituals.
In addition to the Tamil Nadu events, similar prayers will be held at Kukke and Ghati Subramanya temples in Karnataka, Mopidevi and Bikkavolu temples in Andhra Pradesh, Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Temple on Indrakeeladri Hill, and Sri Puruhutika Devi Temple in Pithapuram. A special solar invocation ritual will also take place this Sunday at the Sri Suryanarayana Swamy Temple in Arasavilli, Srikakulam district, to seek divine energy for the armed forces.
Pawan Kalyan also called for interfaith participation, encouraging people of all religions to hold similar prayer gatherings. He appealed to Hindus, Christians, and Muslims to organize prayers in temples, churches, and mosques across the nation for the safety and protection of soldiers and civilians, particularly in conflict-prone areas such as Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Haryana.
This nationwide spiritual initiative led by Pawan Kalyan reflects a strong sense of cultural unity and national pride, reinforcing public support for the armed forces during this significant moment in India’s defense history.
