Pawan Kalyan demands AP government to not sell TTD properties

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) decision to dispose of non-remunerative properties has kicked up a controversy with the entire Opposition taking objection to it.

Actor turned politician Pawan kalyan of late criticized TTD for sacking its employees and demanded to withdraw the move. Now once again the Janasena president took to Twitter to lash out at the government’s decision to sell unethically TTD properties in this economical crisis.

Miffed at the way the AP government was proceeding, he expressed his objection in a row of tweets for infringing the legal rights and also incorporated a fact check with the laws enforced specifically for TTD.

“All Hindu Religious Institutions and Organizations look upto TTD. As the largest and one of the richest religious institutions of the world, TTD must set a good example and best practices for others to follow.” He tweeted.

“If TTD sells away land, this shall set a bad precedent and even other Hindu Religious institutions might imitate it. This shall also hurt the sentiments and beliefs of millions of devotees” he wrote in an other tweet.

The Jana Sena president said AP needs financial assistance to create occupations and revive the economy; one of the key resources for any government body is land. Land can pull in money from the investors, which can be optimized to generate revenue, salary and consequently the organization must endeavor each potential ways to safeguard and ensure about government properties, especially land.

Many fans on twitter supported his opinion and few others requested him to make a video regarding the same so that it will go viral and create awareness in the social media.

Meanwhile CPI State secretary K. Ramakrishna, wrote a letter to TTD Chairman Y.V. Subba Reddy on Sunday, censuring the proposal to auction Tirumala Devasthanam and asked to drop immediately.
