With the OG frenzy settling down, the focus is now shifting to the upcoming films Akhanda 2 and Raja Saab. Slated for a Sankranti release, Raja Saab still has some time before hitting theatres, but director Maruthi is already gearing up to release the first trailer soon.
The earlier teaser received a strong response, and the team has now crafted a full trailer that promises to surpass audience expectations. Initially, a Mumbai-based team was brought in to edit the trailer, but the makers later opted for a local team to better align it with audience preferences.
The trailer is expected to drop next week and will be attached to the nationwide release of Kantara Chapter 1 this Dasara, which is launching in multiple languages — providing a pan-India platform for Raja Saab.
To maintain momentum despite the long wait until the January release, the team is planning a strategic rollout with not one, but two trailers. The first trailer will come out soon, while the second will release closer to the film’s premiere, ensuring the hype stays alive until the big day.
