Actress Rukmini Vasanth is currently in the spotlight with her upcoming film Madharaasi, but she has chosen to remain silent about one of the most anticipated projects in Telugu cinema—Jr NTR’s collaboration with director Prashanth Neel, tentatively titled Dragon.
During the Hyderabad promotions of Madharaasi, which stars Siva Karthikeyan and is set for release on September 5, Rukmini faced multiple questions about her rumored role in the NTR–Neel film. However, she neither confirmed nor denied her involvement. Reports strongly suggest she is on board, but with no official announcement yet, Rukmini appears to be waiting for the right time to speak.
Rukmini shot to fame with the Kannada film Sapta Sagaradaache Ello and has since emerged as one of the most promising new talents in South Indian cinema. Known for choosing her projects selectively, she has managed to build an impressive lineup, including Madharaasi, Kantara Chapter 1, the NTR–Prashanth Neel project, and Toxic.
With such carefully chosen films across industries, Rukmini is fast becoming a name to watch. For now, though, fans will have to wait for an official confirmation about her role in Dragon, as the suspense around the big-budget project continues to build.
