Samsung Expands Enterprise Push in India with Gurugram Experience Studio

Samsung, the South Korean consumer technology major, is strengthening its presence in India’s enterprise technology space with the launch of its Business Experience Studio in Gurugram. This is the company’s second such facility in India after Mumbai.

The experience centre provides businesses with a hands-on view of Samsung’s connected enterprise ecosystem, which includes AI-powered displays, secure workplace solutions, cloud-enabled infrastructure, and industry-specific applications. These solutions cater to sectors such as retail, banking, healthcare, education, and hospitality.

The expansion comes as global tech companies increasingly move beyond consumer electronics to focus on enterprise solutions, where artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and connected devices are driving digital transformation.

Speaking to Business Today, Puneet Sethi, Vice President and Head of Samsung Enterprise Business, said AI is not an added layer in Samsung’s ecosystem but is built directly into its devices.

He explained that Samsung’s approach differs from traditional enterprise software models, as AI capabilities are integrated at the device level itself, enabling smarter workflows and improved efficiency across organisations.

Samsung’s enterprise strategy is also closely linked to its India manufacturing and localisation efforts. The company produces a significant portion of its consumer and enterprise devices at its facilities in Noida and Chennai under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme.

Sethi further noted that Samsung is also investing in research and development through its centres in Noida and Bengaluru, strengthening its India-focused innovation capabilities.

Inside the Gurugram studio, Samsung has created dedicated zones showcasing enterprise solutions such as connected classrooms, AI-enabled retail displays, mobility solutions, and secure workplace systems. These demonstrations are designed to help businesses understand real-world applications of Samsung’s technology ecosystem.

According to Sethi, multiple industry verticals are contributing strongly to Samsung’s enterprise growth in India, with the company building robust pipelines across sectors.

Security remains a key focus area, with Samsung highlighting its Knox platform as a core part of its enterprise strategy. Knox provides defence-grade security across devices, networks, and cloud systems, aligning with data protection requirements under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) framework.

Samsung is also actively engaging with India’s rapidly expanding Global Capability Centre (GCC) ecosystem, which has become a major hub for global enterprises. The company said it is working closely with GCCs to deploy its solutions and strengthen enterprise partnerships in the country.
