Sree Leela isn’t just one of Tollywood’s busiest actresses — she’s also a medical student working toward becoming a doctor. She says her life moves in two parallel worlds: one filled with lights, camera, and costumes, and the other with lab coats, lectures, and books. This balance, she believes, keeps her grounded and prevents fame from getting to her head.
A self-confessed workaholic, Sree Leela recalls how her childhood was always packed with school, dance, music, swimming, and tuitions — a rhythm she still follows today. She doesn’t like staying idle; when she takes a break, she turns to music. In Hyderabad, it’s Telugu tunes; in Bangalore, it’s Kannada songs; and when she’s with her grandparents, she enjoys timeless classics.
She admits to being an overthinker but says she actively tries to maintain peace in her life. She deals with situations calmly, avoiding anger and grudges. Having found success at a young age, she says stardom now feels normal — though she’s aware that people see her differently. Every role, she says, has been a learning experience, and seeing her hard work translate beautifully on screen gives her immense joy.
Sree Leela follows one golden rule: she will act only in films that families can watch together. From senior actors, she has learned the importance of discipline, grace, and problem-solving with a smile. While she hopes to do a heartfelt love story someday, commercial cinema, she admits, still gives her an unmatched thrill.
Her next big film, Mass Jathara, is all set to release on October 31st. Promising a perfect mix of comedy, thrills, and strong emotions, Sree Leela says it will be a complete commercial entertainer that fans will love.
