Actor Varalaxmi Sarathkumar recently met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor-turned-politician Vijay along with her husband, Nicholai Sachdev. Following the meeting, she shared a series of pictures on Instagram and penned an emotional note expressing her admiration for Vijay and her confidence in his leadership.

Reflecting on the meeting, Varalaxmi wrote that while many opinions continue to circulate about Vijay’s political journey, she firmly believes in his ability to lead Tamil Nadu. She described him as a leader with the courage, determination, and public support needed to become Chief Minister, adding that earning the state’s top post on a first attempt is no small achievement.

The actress urged people to give Vijay time to prove himself rather than judging him prematurely. Stressing that actions matter more than words, she appealed to critics to be patient and allow his work to speak for itself. She expressed hope that his leadership would bring positive change to the people of Tamil Nadu.

Varalaxmi also opened up about her long-standing admiration for Vijay, describing herself as a devoted fan for many years. Thanking him for taking the time to meet her and her husband, she recalled a memorable conversation they had during the shooting of Sarkar, saying she had sensed even then that politics was destined to be a significant part of his journey.

Calling Vijay “warm and humble,” the actress revealed that their discussion also touched upon issues related to women’s welfare. She concluded her heartfelt message by wishing him success in his tenure and expressing confidence that Tamil Nadu would witness meaningful progress under his leadership.
