After a major shock from the High court to AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, the State Chief Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh took charge and said that the system is the only permanent thing in this world but not the individuals. Nimmagadda added that it is the responsibility of the authorities like the high court to safeguard the system.
Later the SEC Chief went heavy on Jagan and his way of ruling. Nimmagadda opined that the YSRCP government neglected the COVID-19 issue in the initial stage and now failing to control its spread. He even criticized Jagan for LG Polymers’ accident and said that the government is using all its power to re-write the system to cover up its mistakes.
Now, from his words, it is very much understandable that Nimmagadda is in a revenge mode. News is out that, most probably, Nimmagadda is going to take strict action on the YSRCP members who allegedly committed so many crimes during the nomination process of the local body elections.
Many complaints were filed in so many police stations all over the state that the ruling party leaders threatened the other party members and attacked them on their way to nominations. If Nimmagadda is very particular on his revenge, he can postpone elections once again and who knows, the election commission may re-invite the candidates who failed to file nominations due to these riots. Anyway, it is quite clear that a very tough period is ahead for Jagan.
