Hero Vaishnav Tej made a sensational debut with Uppena, immediately grabbing the audience’s attention and turning into a blockbuster star. With the film collecting over ₹100 crore, Vaishnav Tej established himself with a strong debut. His performance impressed audiences, and several makers were eager to work with him. Vaishnav also accepted multiple offers and went on to sign consecutive projects.
However, the films that followed—Kondapolam, Rang Rang Vaibhavanga, and Adikeshav—failed to make an impact at the box office. With a string of flops, Vaishnav became more cautious about his career and started taking extra care in selecting scripts. As a result, he has stayed away from films for the past two years, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the announcement of his next project.
During this period, Vaishnav reportedly rejected several scripts, including some from prominent producers. Recently, it is said that he has listened to a script by Vikram K. Kumar, known for 24, and discussions are currently ongoing. Vikram is expected to finalize the script soon and present it to Vaishnav in the near future.
It is also rumored that Vikram K. Kumar is working on a separate script for Vijay Deverakonda, which is still in the early discussion stages. The project with Vaishnav Tej is expected to be produced by Yuvi Creations, and an official announcement could come next year.
Apart from Vikram K. Kumar, Vaishnav is also reportedly in talks with other directors, but no project has been officially confirmed yet. If all goes as planned, Vaishnav Tej is likely to begin shooting for his next film sometime next year.
