Prabhas’ ₹4500 Cr Lineup Buzz
December 11, 2025

Looking at Prabhas’ current lineup, an interesting discussion is unfolding in the industry. It’s true that his market expanded massively after Baahubali, but witnessing every film of his generate business in the hundreds of crores is no small feat. The five films he currently has in hand are not only massive in terms of budget but equally huge in terms of pre-release business potential. And the numbers circulating in trade circles are nothing short of astonishing.
To begin with, Maruthi’s The Raja Saab may not have huge external buzz yet, but being a horror-comedy puts it in a fairly safe zone. Trade sources suggest that it could comfortably fetch around ₹400 crore in business. Next is Hanu Raghavapudi’s Fauji, a war drama. With the director’s classy image blending with Prabhas’ mass appeal, the trade is expecting business in the range of ₹600 crore.
The real game-changers, however, are the big-ticket projects. Prashanth Neel’s Salaar 2 stands to benefit heavily from the massive success of its first part, and buzz indicates it could easily command ₹800–900 crore in pre-release business. Then comes Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The craze surrounding this combination is on another level, and trade circles believe it could touch as high as ₹1200 crore purely on hype and demand.
The biggest of them all is Kalki 2898 AD – Part 2. Since the first part delivered globally, expectations on the second are even higher. In terms of rights and business potential, this film is projected to reach the ₹1350 crore mark. Each film, in its own way, seems to be setting a new benchmark for the market.
But the real picture emerges only when you look at the total. Adding up the estimated business of all five films—from The Raja Saab to Kalki 2—the trade is predicting a staggering overall figure of around ₹4000–4500 crore. For a single star to command such cumulative market power is extraordinary. However, with massive business comes massive risk. Even a small slip can leave buyers exposed to significant losses. These numbers are achievable only when the content matches the hype, not just because of star power or high-profile combinations.
Now, the big question is: how will Prabhas match these expectations at the box office? And how will he justify this monumental ₹4500 crore market? Only time will tell.
