Allu Arjun to Star in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s High-Octane Pan-India Film
Icon Star Allu Arjun is riding a career-high after the phenomenal success of Pushpa 2: The Rule. The film has elevated his popularity not only across India but also in international markets, further expanding his fan base. Every update regarding his upcoming projects now generates immense excitement among audiences.
Currently, Allu Arjun is immersed in a high-budget film directed by Atlee, which promises grand-scale production, heavy visual effects, and a science-fiction backdrop. The project is already one of the most anticipated films in Indian cinema, with fans eager to see the stylish star in a completely new avatar.
Even before completing this venture, news about Allu Arjun’s next project has started making waves. According to industry sources, he has given his nod to a film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, a director celebrated for his intense storytelling and powerful action sequences. The film is expected to be produced by Mythri Movie Makers, who have reportedly set up a dedicated office for Lokesh Kanagaraj in Hyderabad, highlighting the seriousness of the project. Script discussions are already underway, and Lokesh is expected to begin location scouting from January 2026.
The project is a reworked version of Lokesh’s long-cherished dream film Irumbu Kai Mayavi, modified to suit Allu Arjun’s pan-India image. The story is said to be unique and emotionally engaging, centering on a hero who loses one of his hands in a major accident. Later, a powerful metal hand replaces it, granting him extraordinary strength and a renewed purpose in life. Sources indicate that principal shooting may begin in the second half of 2026, making it one of the most eagerly awaited collaborations in recent times.
