Produced by Geetha Arts and directed by Parasuram, the film continues to be a favorite among fans. The production house is reportedly in talks to collaborate with Vijay again.
At the success event of Little Hearts, producer Bunny Vas confirmed the plans, stating that he and Allu Aravind are determined to deliver another blockbuster with Vijay. “We want to make a film that surpasses Geetha Govindam,” Bunny said. “Allu Aravind garu and I are discussing every day to set up something that will generate a huge success. Very soon, we will start working together.”
Vijay, who is currently working on Rowdy Janardhana under Dil Raju’s banner, is in need of a big hit, especially after the box office underperformance of Kingdom. While his recent films have explored different genres than Geetha Govindam, the actor now faces the challenge of delivering content that resonates with today’s audiences.
Industry observers note that audience preferences have evolved since the release of Geetha Govindam, with viewers now showing less interest in routine commercial fare. To replicate or surpass his earlier success, Vijay will need to focus on strong content and engaging storytelling, which could potentially bring him an even bigger hit than Geetha Govindam.
