YCP Leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi Remanded for 14 Days in Kidnap Case

YCP leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi has been sent to 14-day judicial remand by the Vijayawada court in connection with a kidnapping case. The other accused, Lakshmipati and Krishnaprasad, have also been remanded for 14 days.

Vamsi was arrested by the police in Hyderabad and later presented before the Vijayawada court on Thursday night. The court proceedings went on from 11 PM to 2:15 AM, after which the judge ordered judicial custody for the accused.

The case pertains to the alleged kidnapping of Satyavardhan, who works at the TDP office. Police have booked Vamsi under non-bailable sections as per the Atrocities Act. While Vamsi was apprehended in Hyderabad, the other accused, Sivaramakrishna Prasad and Nimma Lakshmipathi, were arrested in Vijayawada.

Before being presented in court, Vamsi was interrogated for nearly eight hours at the Krishna Lanka police station. The case continues to draw significant attention as further legal proceedings unfold.
