Vishwak Sen’s Laila Gets ‘A’ Certificate, Set for Feb 14 Release
Young Telugu hero Vishwak Sen is eagerly awaiting the release of his upcoming film Laila, which is set to hit theaters on February 14, coinciding with Valentine’s Day. The film is generating buzz for its unique concept, with Vishwak portraying a female character for entertainment purposes.
With just a few days left for its release, Laila has successfully completed its censor formalities. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has granted the film an ‘A’ certificate, indicating that it is strictly for adult audiences. This decision was largely expected, given the film’s mass appeal and the adult humor showcased in the trailer.
Initially, the makers aimed for a U/A certificate to attract a wider family audience, but the censor board remained firm on its rating. Despite this, the film is expected to cater well to its target audience, particularly mass moviegoers and front-row viewers.
On a positive note, the censor talk suggests that Laila has shaped up well, offering ample entertainment to keep the audience engaged. Early reviews hint that it will be a “funtastic” entertainer with high entertainment value.
Another key update from the censor formalities is that the film has locked a runtime of 2 hours and 16 minutes (136 minutes), which is considered an ideal length for a comedy entertainer.
Now that all pre-release formalities are completed, all eyes are on Laila’s box office performance. The film is expected to bring much-needed success to Vishwak Sen and entertain the audience with its fun-filled narrative.
