The third weekend of Durdhandhar 2 has kicked off on a steady note after a brief slowdown during the weekdays. From last Monday, occupancy saw a noticeable drop, raising concerns in trade circles. Reports suggested a fall of over fifty percent, creating some tension around the film’s run. However, this dip now appears to have been temporary.

The film regained momentum from Thursday evening onwards. On platforms like BookMyShow, ticket sales picked up strongly, with over 22,000 tickets being booked per hour at one point. This surge pushed the film back into the top trending list. While the growth is gradual, there are no signs of a further decline.

At present, Durdhandhar 2 is inching closer to the ₹1500 crore mark. Whether it can reach the much-talked-about ₹2000 crore milestone remains to be seen. Compared to the first installment, Part 2 is showing fluctuations in daily collections, which is clearly reflected in the numbers. Moreover, repeat audience turnout is relatively lower this time.

Despite these minor challenges, the film has provided a much-needed boost to the March box office. In several centers, it continues to perform strongly, with main screens maintaining over 50 percent occupancy.

Even with new releases on the horizon, Durdhandhar 2 is unlikely to face major setbacks. The film is still commanding strong audience attention and holding its ground firmly at the box office.
