Rana Daggubati, who portrayed the powerful King Bhallaladeva in the Baahubali duology, has opened up about the immense physical and mental strain he went through during the making of the films. He revealed that the project, which spanned nearly six years, had a significant impact on him due to its demanding nature.

In a recent interaction, the Kaantha actor admitted that most of the scenes were extremely challenging, as the team was essentially exploring uncharted territory in Indian cinema at the time. He pointed out that there were very few large-scale war films to draw inspiration from, and the visual effects technology was still evolving during production.

Rana noted that the project constantly pushed the limits of everyone involved, both technically and creatively. He also shared that his physical transformation for the role was so intense that he often wondered whether audiences would even recognize him on screen.

The multilingual actor further added that Baahubali continues to age beautifully and remains a landmark film that will leave a lasting impact on Indian cinema for years to come.
