Balakrishna’s Success Streak and Spiritual Beliefs Revealed

January 20, 2025

Nandamuri Balakrishna is basking in the glory of a golden run at the box office, with his recent Sankranti release Daku Maharaj proving to be a massive success. Directed by Bobby, the film has grossed over 150 crores, thanks to Balayya’s power-packed triple avatar that masterfully combines emotion and action, captivating audiences.

During the film’s promotional campaign, Balakrishna made an intriguing revelation about his spiritual beliefs, leaving fans curious. Known for his strong faith in astrology and rituals, Balayya shared an interesting story from his life that highlighted his strict adherence to certain superstitions. From beginning each day with prayers to wearing specific gemstone rings, Balakrishna leaves no stone unturned when it comes to his devotion.

In an exclusive interview, the actor revealed his long-standing superstition about the color black on Sundays, a belief tied to his birth under the Moola Nakshatra. “I have a rule of not wearing black on Sundays, but during the shoot of Aditya 369, I decided to test it. That day, the legendary SP Balasubrahmanyam, who rarely visited the set, happened to be present. To my shock, I fell right in front of him and injured my waist. That incident made me realize never to challenge my horoscope again,” Balayya recalled, emphasizing his unwavering belief in the cosmic forces.

Balakrishna’s devotion and rituals have become part of his persona, and fans are eagerly looking forward to his upcoming film Aditya 999 Max, the much-anticipated sequel to Aditya 369. In this magnum opus, he will share the screen with his son, Mokshagna, as they continue the legacy of one of Tollywood’s most iconic franchises. With a string of hits like Akhanda, Veerasimha Reddy, and Bhagwant Kesari under his belt, Balayya’s Daku Maharaj has further cemented his position at the box office. Meanwhile, his talk show Unstoppable on Aha OTT remains a fan favorite, keeping audiences hooked with every episode.
