Love Insurance Kompany Ends as Box Office Disappointment

Love Insurance Kompany is nearing the end of its theatrical run on a disappointing note at the box office. Starring Pradeep Ranganathan, Krithi Shetty, and S. J. Suryah, the film was released with strong expectations, especially following Pradeep’s recent success streak.
However, the film failed to live up to the hype. On its fourth Saturday (Day 23), it managed to collect just ₹8 lakh, reflecting its steady decline at the box office. According to trade estimates, the film has earned around ₹42.75 crore net in India (Tamil + Telugu), taking the total gross to approximately ₹50.44 crore.
While these numbers may seem reasonable at first glance, they fall short when compared to the film’s reported budget of ₹60 crore. With its theatrical run almost complete, the film is unlikely to cross the ₹45 crore net mark, ultimately ending up as an underperformer.
Directed by Vignesh Shivan, the film also features Seeman, Yogi Babu, and Gouri G Kishan in key roles. It is produced by Nayanthara and S. S. Lalit Kumar under Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studio.
After its theatrical run, the film is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video from May 6 in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
