Nani’s The Paradise Races Against Time Ahead of Release

Nani is gearing up to surprise audiences with his upcoming film The Paradise, which is already generating strong buzz ahead of its release on August 21. Known for his natural performances, Nani is reportedly stepping into a much darker and more intense space this time, with the film said to feature a violent and hard-hitting narrative—something quite different from his usual image.

With just around 122 days left for release, the team is racing against time to wrap up production. So far, nearly 95 working days of shooting have been completed, while close to 40 days of shoot remain. Once filming is done, the makers will have roughly 80 days for post-production, including editing, background score, and visual effects.

Director Srikanth Odela is currently under significant pressure due to the tight schedule. Although the timeline may appear comfortable on paper, the scale of the project makes execution challenging. Being a pan-India film, The Paradise requires extensive planning across multiple languages, along with a well-structured promotional campaign involving trailers, interviews, and events nationwide.

The film is mounted on a high budget, and trade expectations suggest it needs to cross the ₹100 crore mark at the box office to be deemed successful. The trailer is expected to play a crucial role in driving hype, especially in the Hindi market where Nani’s previous films like Dasara and Saripodhaa Sanivaaram had limited impact. This time, the team is making a conscious effort to expand reach and appeal to a wider audience.

Adding to the intrigue, Raghav Juyal has been cast as the second antagonist, bringing fresh curiosity to the project. The film’s first song has already struck a chord with fans, and expectations are high for the upcoming tracks and promotional content.

With a unique concept, ambitious scale, and tight deadlines, The Paradise is shaping up to be a crucial film in Nani’s career.
