25 Districts in Andhra Pradesh!

Share

BJP AP-unit President and Vizag MP Kambhampati Haribabu asked TDP Government to take measures to create 25 districts from the existing 13 districts in Seemandhra to take administration closer to the people.

Pointing out that only 4 out of 14 ports in AP were operational, Haribabu appealed State Government to effectively use the vast coastline available and also set up Maritime Development Board.

The Parliament Member recalled Centre sanctioning 7 educational institutions to AP soon after forming the Government. He informed all these institutions will begin functioning from the next academic year.

Haribabu told Narendra Modi-led NDA Government is doing everything possible to bail out AP from crisis. He went on to say Centre will help State Government in building AP Capital and Other Development Works till 2019.

TRS found replacement for Kadiyam Srihari

Chief Minister KCR surprised everyone with his decision to sack Deputy CM T Rajaiah from his cabinet and replace him with Kadiyam Srihari who also hails from Warangal. Kadiyum’s entry into cabinet sent the indications thats by-election to Warangal Lok Sabha segment is inevitable.

Buzz in political circles is that former Congress MP Vivek is the strong contender to replace Kadiyam Srihari. TRS is wooing Vivek and he might quit Congress party any time soon.

Apparently, Vivek who represented Peddapalli Lok Sabha constituency till 2014 polls joined TRS few months before the general elections. After UPA left no stone unturned to pass the T-Bill in Parliament, Vivek returned to Congress and TRS fielded student leader Balka Suman as its candidate in Peddapalli. The wave in favour of Congress helped TRS win the seat with a huge majority.

Why KCR left Republic Day parade mid-way?

Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao walking away from the Parade Grounds where the Republic Day celebrations were held on Monday even before the completion of the function raised many eye-brows.

Soon after Governor Narasimhan read his 16-page Republic Day address, KCR walked away and his cabinet colleagues accompanied him till the convoy. What made everyone take notice of this development is that the Chief Minister left even before the National Anthem was played.

On his return to the seat, KTR greeted Governor’s wife Vimala with folded hands and she enquired the Minister about something (probably the reason for KCR leaving parade grounds mid-way).

Cultural Performances in Telangana Republic Day parade were called off due to the delay in Governor’s arrival. Narasimhan had went participate in AP’s Republic Day parade at Vijayawada and returned Begumpet through a helicopter to bbe present at Parade Grounds.  May be, This could be the reason for KCR’s unusual act.

Tirupati By-poll not unanimous!

Share

Congress party has ruined the plans of TDP to make the Tirupati by-poll unanimous by making all the opposition parties stay away from contest. While YSR Congress declared it isn’t in the fray respecting the old custom, Congress refused to oblige TDP’s request asking the National party not to field its candidate.

Apparently, A by-election is going to be held in Tirupati in view of Sitting TDP MLA M Venkataramana’s untimely demise just few after the general elections 2014. TDP fielded Venkataramana’s Wife Sugunamma as its candidate in Tirupati by-poll which will happen on February 13th.

On the other hand, Congress announced Sridevi as its candidate for the by-election in Tirupati. Although TDP’s victory could be predicted well in advance, Congress is trying to make its existence felt by staying in the contest.

YSRCP Is Another PRP?

Share

It is sad fact that political leaders of the opposition party have started to change their sides after they have realized they are not going to be as royal as ruling party, which is unacceptable. It does nothing good for the people who have voted for them in their respective constituencies. All they want is to stay in ruling party? Its heartening to see that service being not their primary motto! Evidently noticeable that being in regional parties like YSRCP, along the side of oppostion against TDP is too tough.  Congress, BJP being National parties are strong enough to bounce back in next elections but the local leaders in YSRCP change their sides due to fear of insecurities of their future.

Lets have a close look at the fate of PRP which began with mightier hopes, but finally had to merge in Congress, a major competition initially. Should we now think, YSRCP’s fate is going to be the same? As the similar story of YSRCP leaders changing their parties, minding their own futures, just like it happened for PRP, it looks alike. The only positive thing which is still on Jagan’s party is the current issues of newly formed state, capital. As we know it isn’t cake-walk managing everything in a newly formed state, Jagan may take advantage of this point.
