If you are a music lover then the one dream you would cherish is meet the musical legend Ilaiyaraaja and given a chance touch his feet. That’s the impact this musical maestro has on the world of music. But just like all good things come to an end, it appears that the shine and finesse in the maestro’s compositions has come down.
The latest from Ilaiyaraaja happens to be the Bollywood flick ‘Shamitabh’ and given the fact that it is his 1000th film, the expectations were high. However, many say Ilaiyaraaja’s mark is not seen much. When he creates a tune, either the 30 plus should connect or the new age generation should connect.
If none is connecting then it means he is not catching the pulse of any segment. Looking back at his works in the last five years, Ilaiyaraaja has come up with movies like ‘Mallepuvvu’ ‘Jaganmohini’ ‘Om Shanti’ ‘Gaayam 2’ ‘Dhoni’ and others.
But among them all, it was only ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ and ‘Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu’ which saw his brilliance. His latest offering ‘Shamitabh’ is somewhat average. Though the maestro may have lost his sheen in the recent past, his legacy and tunes are immortal.

According to the latest it is coming out that PM Modi in all probability will be flooring US first lady Michelle Obama with Banarasi silk dress material and over 100 Banarasi sarees. Michelle Obama loves Indian silk very much and at various international functions she was seen wearing Jacquard silk dresses designed by famed designers Naeem Khan, Alexander McQueen and Tracy Resse.

Ind Cricketer Files Defamation Suit Against Newspaper
Team India all rounder Ravindra Jadeja filed defamation suit against Rajkot Newspaper. Ravindra Jadeja took this serious action after the evening news paper carried out a news item on extortion and land grabbing investigation including his name.
Ravindra Jadeja sued ‘Aabtak’ editor and owner Satish Mehta, demanding damages of worth Rs 51 crore. P B Parmar, crore.Principal senior civil judge issued summons to Satish Mehta asking him to appear in front of the court on 4th February.
In the news paper report published on November 20, 2014, it alleged that Ravindra Jadeja had links with Bali Dangar who is facing criminal charges of extortion and land grabbing. He alleged that even Jadeja’s business partner Jenesih Ajmera had links with Bali Dangar.
Jadeja’s lawyer Hiren Bhatt says that his client moved to court after the editor failed to respond to the notices. He said Jadeja has no links with Ajmera. Editor is not reachable to comment.
Surya Files Complaint On His Fan
Without fans, heroes are nothing. But if fans are crossing the limits, then even a superstar like Surya will take legal action. An impersonator of actor Surya has not just shocked the actor, but the whole of his fanbase before he fooled the authorities of social networking giant Facebook too.
Recently, a Facebook page by the name ‘Actor Suriya’ got verified by Facebook team and started displaying a ‘blue tick’ beside the name of the actor. That obviously led fans to the belief that Surya has joined Facebook and likes started to pour.
But truth is quite different. This page is started by one of his fan and it got official tag from Facebook. Identifying the issue, Surya has immediately lodged a complaint with Cyber Cell, requesting police to take action against the admins of the page, undoubtedly his hardcore fans.
One wonders, how come Facebook has verified the page and given an official blue tick to it!!
Angry MLA Asks to Operate on his Blood
Angry MLA from Andhra Pradesh asked doctors to operate on his blood. The incident happened when a pregnant woman burst with tears in front of YSRCP MLA Kona Raghupathy from Bapatla alleging that the doctors refused to perform operation and in turn asked her to go to Guntur.
Pregnant woman Annamani reached Bapatla hospital from Ganapavaram and requested doctors to perform operation and save her and her kid. However doctors asked her to go to Guntur as they didn’t have B +ve blood.
Annamani expressed her troubles to MLA Kona Raghupathy who coincidentally came to the hospital to conduct surprise checks. Kona Raghupathy at once asked the doctors to perform operation informing that even his blood group is B +ve.
Doctors conducted operation with the initiative of the MLA by getting B +ve blood from Guntur blood bank. Kona Raghupathy is father of famous costume designer and Samantha’s best pal, Kona Neeraja.

Recently son of a former MP under the influence of alcohol entered into argument with hotel employee in Punjagutta, Hyderabad. He didn’t stop there and even tried to assault the hotel employees breaking a beer bottle.
When people tried to catch him, he tried attacking them on which they informed police. Even police are in for a shock as he tried attacking them. Police finally arrested him and his friends and booked cases on them.

New Trailers For Old Film
When you watch a trailer of a film you know that it is expected to arrive in the next two to three weeks. As for those films which give their trailer and don’t arrive on time, you consider them to be stuck. But have you ever seen new trailers for an old film?
Well, something like that it about to happen now. We are talking about the long pending movie ‘Rey’ and while it is not sure when the film will release, a new trailer is now in the making, as per sources.
This was reportedly revealed by the director and producer YVS Chowdary when he met the media after offering his prayers at the NTR Ghat. ‘Rey’ was to mark the debut of mega hero Sai Dharam Tej but things didn’t go as planned.
However, a new promotion package is now being planned by YVS Chowdary so it remains to be seen when the film will arrive. For now, all eyes are on the new trailer and mega fans hope that something works out soon.
