Posing in various outfits and draped in different jewels, Samantha’s print-ad campaign for JewelOne got instant attention. When the likes of Aishwarya and Katrina are posing for bigger jeweller brands like Geethanjil and all, Samantha is happy to chose lesser known local brands.

Bad days begin for Mega Family films!
Mega Family after Chiranjeevi is churning out heroes one after the other. Most of them are successful and are known for their minimum guarantee films. However it is said that bad time has started for them with Jeevitha Rajasekhar appointed as Central Censor Board Member.
It is known that Rajasekhar family and Chiranjeevi were at loggerheads since the time of Praja Rajyam. It was then Rajasekhar commented that Chiranjeevi can not succeed in politics to a TV channel and for that, few Mega fans have attacked him.
The gap went on widening further after several occasions and different political stands. Jeevitha may take revenge now by using her influence in the Censor Board for Mega movies. Also Chiranjeevi also do not have Central support as he is in Congress.
Mihir Bhuta, Prof. Syed Abdul Bari, Ramesh Patange, George Baker, Chandra Prakash Dwivedi, Vani Tripathi Tikoo, S Ve Shekhar, Ashoke Pandit are the other members in the board and Pahlaj Nihalan is the newly appointed Chairperson.
Jeevitha is the first actress and filmmaker from Telugu cinema to have made it this position.
People’s Star rejects NTR’s Temper!
Young Tiger NTR’s Temper supposedly have a crucial role for People’s Star R.Narayana Murthy. Puri Jagannadh who have a soft corner for Leftist Philosophy approached him for the role. It is said that he also offered him a fat remuneration for playing the role. However the Red Star reportedly turned down the offer and said Sorry to NTR and Puri.
Temper Unit sources say Narayana Murthy do not want to deviate from the path he chosen and so he refused a Main Stream film like Temper. However he appreciated Puri on the story of Temper. The movie shooting is currently in the last leg and the makers are planning to release the film on February 13th.
The audio release event will take place on 24th of this month in Hyderabad. NTR and Puri Jagannadh earlier teamed up for Andhrawala several years ago. There were huge expectations on the movie as it came after a blockbuster,Simhadri. But the film was an utter flop. Later on a film in their combination was on cards for several times but that did not happen.
Puri wants to make amends for Andhrawala mistake with this new project. The success of this film is important to both of them as they are success starved for a long time.
Trisha Laughs At Engagement Gift
A 3.5 crores worth Rolls Royce car and a 75 lakhs worth diamond studded gold ring. This is what heroine Trisha will be getting as a gift from her beau Varun Manian on her engagement day. But why is she laughing at them now?

Despite being an experimental film, Gopala Gopala has done exceptionally well at the box office until second weekend. Thanks to Pawan Kalyan and his tremendous crowd pulling power, Gopala Gopala stood firmly against the odds and took the buyers to a safe zone, well… almost! Gopala Gopala has collected a share of 38 crores until second weekend and it needs to collect another eight crores to be termed as a hit.
Pawan Kalyan did his bit until now by showing his star power by drawing huge festive crowds to the theaters. Holidays are over and it will be hard for a film of this genre to stay afloat now. Family audience will prove key for Gopala Gopala to collect another ten crores, which is not that easy.
Venkatesh has very good following among the family audience and ladies. His films used to have long run at the box office in the past. His share of audience will be crucial for Gopala Gopala to be termed as a unanimous hit.
Chandrababu’s Stunning Comments on NTR
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Monday surprised one and all with his comments on veteran actor-TDP founder NTR. Speaking at an event in Chagallu of West Godavari district, Babu heaped praises on the late actor-politician on the eve of his death anniversary.
Chandrababu stated that NTR’s statue has “divine powers” and he added that if one touches his statue before their work, the work would be completed successfully. Stating that NTR is avatar of divine, Babu said that NTR one should visit NTR’s statue before important works.
Comparing NTR’s statue with Lord Venkateswara idol in Tirupati, Babu said that NTR’s statue too fulfills one’s desires like the Lord Balaji in Tirumala. While these comments stunned TDP activists and leaders, YSRCP leader-wife of NTR Lakshmi Parvathi questioned Chandrababu that why did he insulted NTR during his last days if NTR is divine personality.
Responding to Parvathi’s allegations, senior TDP leader retaliated that Lakshmi Parvathi is the “Shani” (Saturn) for NTR and Chandrababu tried to save NTR from the “Shani”.
Manchu Manoj To Marry Pranitha
Actor Manchu Manoj is all set to get hitched soon if reports are to be believed. The younger Manchu is reportedly seeing socialite Pranitha Reddy for a while and duo is keen to take their relationship to the next level.
Apparently, the family of Manoj has already given green signal for the duo’s relationship and families of both are soon going to meet and finalize the dates. Pranitha is said to be alumna of BITS and close friend of Viranica Manchu, wife of Vishnu Manchu.
Both Manoj and Pranitha met through Viranica and that’s when the cupid struck them. It is learnt that families of bride-to-be and groom-to-be will formally finalize the engagement date followed by wedding date.
We hear that the wedding is going to happen this year itself. A formal announcement is expected to be made by the families this week. So, wedding bells are going to ring at Manchu house very soon.

Refuting the media reports that actress Jyotika would be part of Telugu remake of her Tamil comeback How Old Are You?, actor Suriya’s home production house 2D Entertainment released a press statement that the reports were “wrong”.
Its statement reads so, “There were more calls on airs that Jyotika will be reprising the lead roles in the other remakes of How Old Are You, which 2D Entertainment has acquired the rights (Except Malayalam, the original version).
It has been affirmed that Jyotika will not be a part of these remakes and that several top-charting production houses of Tollywood, Bollywood and other regional film industries are up with high offers to 2D Entertainment as many A-league actresses of their respective industries are curious to play the lead role.”
With this it’s clear that Suriya is planning to sell the remake rights of Telugu and Bollywood at a fancy price and Jyotika wouldn’t be doing them.
Comedian MS Narayana Hospitalised
Popular comedian MS Narayana has been hospitalised. Narayana fell ill on Monday while he was in Vijayawada. After primary treatment in Vijayawada, he was shifted to Hyderabad KIMS later midnight.
MS Narayana was said to be diagnosed with Malayria. A team of doctors are constantly observing Narayana’s health condition and giving proper treatment. His condition is said to be stable, said MS Narayana’s family members.
MS Narayana has a daughter Sasikiran Narayana who recently made her directorial debut with Saheba Subramanyam. The movie, a Malayalam remake, tanked without a trace. MS Narayana is a busy comedian in Tollywood as he’s part of almost all big-ticket films.
His roles in films Attarintiki Daredi, Dookudu, Baadshah are most talked about. He’s part of upcoming films Pataas and Rey which are ready for release. Due to his sudden sickness, the schedules of several films said to be in doldrums.
Moving train kills fitness Model
In a shocking incident Hollywood actor, fitness trainer Greg Plitt has been struck and killed by a train in LA. 37 year old former Calvin Klein model was hit by a Metrolink train when he had a camcorder in his hand.
According to eye witness, he was filming for a protein shake commercial yesterday afternoon. Plitt, a renowned instructor was recently seen a reality show on Bravo called ‘Work Out’. Tragedy struck in form of train when Plitt was readying to feature in a new reality series called ‘Friends to Lovers’, this month end.
Greg Plitt also starred in many Hollywood films like Good Shepherd, Terminator 4 and Watchmen, rubbing shoulders with Robert DeNiro, Matt Damon and Christian Bale.
TRS leaders vow to silence TDP Tiger
TRS leaders Karne Prabhakar, Guvvala Balaraju and others today vowed to silence Telangana TDP tiger in the assembly. It is known that firebrand TDP leader Revanth Reddy for quite some time has been going hammer and tongs on Telangana CM KCR and his government by talking about scams, metro rail controversy, farmers suicides etc.
They warned unless until Revanth Reddy tenders unconditional apology, they will not allow him to talk in the current assembly session. They fired on Congress and TDP leaders for politicising CM KCR’s visits to villages to get first hand information about people’s problems.
They said Chandra Babu’s son Lokesh is talking like Amul Baby after drinking Heritage Milk. They said it is not right on their part to criticize without getting their facts right.
Big B Ready to Answer Nagarjuna
The Telugu crowds have often been welcoming towards any cine celebrity not just when they enter Tollywood but also when they are performing well outside. One person who has struck the hearts of the Telugus in a large way is the living legend Amitabh Bachchan.

Well, he is going to be seen in the MAA TV channel as a person sitting in the hot seat in the famous game show ‘Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu’ being hosted by ‘King’ Akkineni Nagarjuna.
Apparently, this is part of his promotion campaign for his new movie ‘Shamitabh’ which is hitting the screens on February 6th. Sources reveal the shooting is already completed and the show organizers would air it at the right time. It will be interesting to see how the episode runs because Big B happens to be the originator for this show as he hosts ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ in Hindi.
