Vaitla Changes Genre Thanks To Aagadu
Aagadu is probably one of the biggest disasters in the career of Mahesh Babu. Though Srinu Vaitla wanted to experiment with something new, he decided to stick to formula and stuck by the same old template. Unfortunately, that boomeranged and now he has decided to break the routine.
Srinu Vaitla will be directing Ram Charan in the film titled My Name Is Raju and this will be totally different from his earlier films. Talk in industry is that it is an action thriller which will have Ram Charan playing a bike racer. The film will also have ample doses of comedy.
But like the story and narration, the comedy will also be different from his usual style says his team. For now, the hunt is still on for a heroine, though Samantha might be the first choice. Since Ram Charan hasn’t worked with Samantha till now, Vaitla is keen on trying their combination, we are told.

Toilet Use Should Be Lifestyle Choice: Naidu
The use of toilets should be a “lifestyle” choice for all, especially the poor, Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu said Monday. Addressing the inaugural session of the ‘World Toilet Congress’ here, Naidu proposed: “Making use of toilets as a lifestyle choice by all, and particularly the poor as part of achieving total sanitation in the country.”
He elaborated on a three-pronged strategy of promoting awareness about the need for cleanliness, ensuring necessary infrastructure and resorting to penal measures to ensure total sanitation in the country, an official statement said.
Naidu said that at present, none of the 7,135 cities and towns in India qualify to be a “green city” in terms of sanitation. Only three cities – Chandigarh, Surat and Mysore – and the New Delhi Municipal Council area scored 66 as against 90 required for being a green city.
He said a fresh ranking of cities based on sanitation conditions would be completed by March. The minister lamented that $54 billion worth of Gross Domestic Product of the country was being lost every year on account of inadequate sanitation. He also said 13 percent of people in urban areas defecated in the open.

Geetha Reddy on Monday called on the Chief Minister at the Secretariat here triggering wide spread political speculations. Apparently, KCR is looking for a strong Dalit leader in Medak district, which is dominated by Velamas in the party.
KCR sought to pamper Geetha Reddy by readily agreeing to her demand to observe officially the death anniversary of late RPI leader and Telangana stalwart Eshwari Bai on February 24. Eshwari Bai was Geetha Reddy’s mother.
KCR said Eshwari Bai’s biography would be included in Telangana Curriculum. Eshwari Bai is noted for delivering inspiring speeches during 1969 Telangana movement, he noted. Eshwari Bai strived hard for the cause of the Telangana statehood, he added.
