Inventing a special formula for new generation Telugu commercial flicks, director Sreenu Vytla became a mathematical genius these days. Using the equations derived by him, and formulas invented by him, many new age filmmakers are busy churning films in ‘Vytla’ style.

After some action-comedy flicks like Dhee and Ready, Vytla ventured into full pledged mass-entertainers with Dookudu, followed by Aaagadu. Action elements, trademark Brahmi comedy, item numbers and satirical scenes is one of Sreenu’s theorems scripted for Tollywood. In the wake of Mahesh expressing openly about his possible next flick with Vytla, discussions are on about the ‘genre’ and ‘story’ this director in hot-seat should stitch and weave.

Many opine that Sreenu should leave this ‘action-comedy’ principle to trash for his next. If he keeps on carving out different stories with similar setups – a high octane action sequence, Brahmi’s character, colorful songs and power packed dialogues – then one day Vytla’s flicks will look routine with no tinge of newness.

Already Dookudu and Baadshah sound similar and Aaagadu is also looking no different. So, it’s high time Vytla invents another new theorem for himself and others to follow.

She has been escaping from last three months after murdering the husband and hiding in Bangalore Shruti with help of seven more people poisoned and strangled her husband to death, then buried the body.

After killing Ronald, cleverly Shruti lodged a complaint with police claiming that her husband is missing.After lot of turns and twists police identified Sruti as culprit and police took her into custody along with her co-conspirators. Police investigating the reasons behind murdering her husband and seems the actress revealed some bitter truths behind the real intentions of the murder.

She says that her husband Peter wanted to make a blue film featuring her and when she refused, he tortured her using filthy and inde cent language. Shruthi said that she was asked to act and engage in group sex porn films, which she refused. South Indian beauty queen Kajal Agarwal counterattacked Stallin’s complaint saying that she was left in the most critical stage by the film unit of Stallin. She mentioned that Stallin gave an advance of 40 lakhs and took 40 days of her schedule. She further stated that Stallin took back his word of roping her into his flick in the final stage.

It seems that Kajal blocked her schedule for those 40 days without giving dates to any other project. In the final stage, Stallin kept Kajal aside and took Nayantara. Likes of Mahesh Babu, Raviteja and Jr NTR have half heartedly agreed to don the hat of Gona Gannnareddy in the flick, but walked away later. Finally our director is lucky enough to find Allu Arjun ready to wear the historical costumes. Gunasekhar termed this happening as a ‘payback’ time to Bunny for the loss of ‘Varudu’. Manchu family is no stranger to experiments. The clan, which already hold its sway in acting, production, educational institutions, comes up with making a short film. The 3-minute-long short film features Lakshmi Manchu’s feet through the film and it also has popular cameos of Manchu patriarch Mohan Babu, and Manchu brothers Vishnu and Manoj. Vishnu has a surprise in the film as he will be seen doing somersaults. And it’s been aptly titled as “A day in the life of Lakshmi Manchu’s Feet’. What’s more? The Manchu girl’s newly born Vidya Nirvana Manchu too does a cameo, however, it’s only her feet. Produced by 24 Frames Factory, it is likely to be released online. 

Contrary to the harsh reviews and no one gave it damn chances, small budget Boochamma Boochodu has turned out to be a sleeper hit and is expected to garner 2 crores in the first week and gives a breather to sagging career of actor Sivaji. It was made in a shoe-string budget of 80 lakhs and it would recover more than 2.5 times of its investments, thanks to some good comedy by Brahimi and Co and another horror comedy, struck a chord with the audience.

With more than 20 theaters in twin cities and 20-odd theatre in Vizag and 7 theaters in Vijayawada, Guntur, the debutant film of director Reven Yadu,it gradually picking up. “Its highest openings for a Sivaji after a quite a long time and more theaters will be added” says a distributor. Some solace for actor Sivaji, no doubt.

Producer and hero Udayanidhi Stalin has lodged a complaint on actress Kajal Agarwal as the actress refused to return the 40 lakhs advance she owed to him. Well, this lead to discussions about how much our seductress is charging as remuneration from Tamil producers. Check this story.

In fact, Uday directly revealed that they have paid 40 lakhs to Kajal as advance for signing as heroine of ‘Nanbenda’ movie. Generally a producer pays 40-50% advance to any heroine and sometimes they will hand over 60% before the shoot and rest after the business of movie gets closed. If we look from that angle, our hot lady should have demanded a crore as her remuneration. Undoubtedly this is fat pay packet, but Kajal’s demands are more than that from sometime.

As Bandla Ganesh offered a join package of 3 crores for Govindudu Andarivadele and NTR-Puri Jagan movie, she has cited date issues to Tamil producer rather directly asking for more money. The festival of Ganesh has completed and it was filled with a lot of excitement and festive fervor. However, the Nimajjanam process has flagged up few issues to the authorities. It is heard that the quantity of idols increased drastically and it also posed issues to the infrastructure projects happening in the city of Hyderabad.

Now, reports are saying that the officials are convening a meeting and they would be coming up with strict rules on the idols for the festival in 2015. Firstly, the height of the idol has to be reduced because the city is planning to come up with new flyovers around that time and when the construction is on, the tall idols cannot be transported.

Plans are also on to see if the number of idols per locality needs to be restricted because it has become more like a competition between groups than coming together and celebrating the festival. As always, initiatives are going to be aggressive to clear the garbage and ensure maximum pollution is curbed in the Hussain Sagar lake.

Natakireeti Rajendra Prasad’s brother died in a tragic road accident during the early hours of Wednesday. Gadde Veerabhadra Swamy (57) after getting his two wheeler filled with petrol at Ramavarappadu petrol bunk near Vijayawada was driving ahead when an unidentified vehicle hit him. Locals shifted seriously injured Veerabhadra Swamy to near by private hospital. 

He passed away while doctors were treating him. His body was shifted to Government hospital for postmortem. He is survived by son and daughter who are settled in Canada. They are flying to India , as soon as they heard the news and will be reaching on Thursday. His final rites will be held on Thursday. 

Veerabhadra Swamy was employed at Drugs Control department and been staying alone at Prasadampadu near Vijaywada. 

The criticism over the indifferent attitude of Eenadu editor and media baron Ramoji Rao is growing by the day in Telangana region. Not just settlers, but also the common man of Telangana state is now stunned looking at the change of flavor in Eenadu features. There is a blanket ban over criticism of TRS in the widely popular paper.

No one would expect any media group to simply criticize anyone for no reason but the manner in which all media groups including national media are coming together to fight against the ban on two channels in TS is baffling many on how Eenadu is moving away. In fact one has to remember that right from day one exactly ten years ago when the late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy came into power, Eenadu didn’t spare any chance.

The manner in which the group is silent is prompting many to ask how long can Ramoji be silent to shield his properties.
