KCR changes mind on GHMC Elections?

Share
With reports that many former councillors from the main parties, Congress and TDP are reportedly insisting on holding the civic body election as a pre-condition for them to actually jump the fence into pink party , the TRS government is in change of a mind.
There are reports that now GHMC elections may be announced for as early as June this year. The good performance during the recently-held Secunderabad Cantonment Board elections too has boosted the confidence of the TRS leadership to go for the civic polls.
Sources say that nearly 30 TDP and Congress councillors who were until now in the recently expired council and another four sitting MLAs from GHMC limits are keen to join the TRS party.
Although the TRS was initially reluctant on early GHMC polls, now with many strongmen from TDP and Congress ready to join TRS on the condition that the polls have to be held at the earliest, TRS is of the opinion that they can do well in the elections.

Censor Talk: Kids Can’t See Pataas

Share
Aiming at a January 23rd release, Nandamuri Kalyanram’s Pataas is getting everything ready. Clearing the Censor formalities, the movie has bagged ‘A’ certificates after getting all the suggested cuts done.
That makes the film not watchable for people under 18 years of age, especially kids, though the rule is not getting implemented strictly anyway. Majority of the cuts suggested for the movie happen to be change or muting of dialogues. As Kalyanaram’s family is inclined towards one party in politics,
Censor Officials made sure that no dialogue having political reference is retained in the flick. On the other hand, glamorous treat hasn’t got cut as producers decided to go with ‘A’ certificate. Pataas will be hitting cinemas on January 23rd in more than 700 theatres as per the trade talk.
With already released Pongal releases had a chance of getting staled by then, and no big competition around, Kalyanaram is expected to score a commercial hit this time. Wait and watch.

He also wove a silk shawl, measuring 2 metres weighing 30 grams, that also fits in a small-size matchbox. Vijay is trying to hand over his unusual gift to Obama couple during their visit to India on the eve of Republic Day celebrations. It’s certainly the rare, best gift from the land of Telangana.

Rajamouli Appreciates Young Hero’s Novelty

Whenever there is something ‘new’ happening in Film Industry, director giant Rajamouli always keeps his busy schedules aside to appreciate it. He feels no competition and has no partiality in admiring the creative work of others and to call a spade a spade.
After praising the likes of Sampoornesh Babu and other star heroes openly, Rajamouli recently stated that both ‘I’ and ‘Gopala Gopala’ are being enjoyed by audiences though critics have blasted them. And today, he spoke about two promising trailers that took Tollywood by a storm.
He appreciated the inattentiveness in Nani’s Yeavde Subramanyam and Nikhil’s Surya Vs Suryva for their sheer brilliance. “Nikhil developed a knack of finding interesting subjects and is creating a space for himself”, stated Rajamouli, sharing his thoughts about hero Nikhil.
After choosing unique stories like Swamy Ra Ra and Karthikeya, surely Surya Vs Surya stands tall in Nikhil’s career if we have to go by the trailer.

Don’t Violate Constitution: HC to Telangana

The High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad, for both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, hit out at the State government of Telangana over its continuous delay in filing counter to cases challenging its Financial Assistance to Students of Telangana (FAST).
The division bench of High Court comprising Chief Justice Kalyan Jyothi Sengupta and Justice P.V. Sanjay Kumar questioned the government that why it hasn’t filed any counter despite given chances three times. It also expressed its dissent over the attitude of Telangana government towards Court for its delay in filing counter affidavit.
This is not all. The High Court asked the government that why it has mentioned the date (1-11-1956) in the GO issued on FAST. It had earlier reminded the Telangana government that such attitude will lead to divisive tendencies.
The High Court bench said that the government must be careful while implementing such schemes as students from different parts of the country are studying in each and every State. Cautioning the government, High Court said that all of its policies should be under the Constitution of India and it said that it will not be silent if there are any violations of Indian Constitution.

Gopala Gopala Continues Its Marathon

Share
Surprising all those critics who lashed out at Gopala Gopala for slow content, the Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh starrer is showcasing its power at box office. Irrespective of what critics said, movie lovers are rushing to see Pawan and Venky together on silver screen, helping the flick register staggering collections.
After 9 days after its release, Gopala Gopala pocketed nearly 30.55 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone. As the season happens to be high potential Sankranthi holidays, Pawan’s acts as Lord Krishna and Venky’s atheist antics have enthralled audiences like never before.
Including Karnakata, Rest of India and Overseas, the movie has amassed nearly 37.9+ crores share. If we have to talk in terms of ‘gross’, then Gopala Gopala’s collections touched 60 crores so far highlighting pure magic of Pawan Kalyan.
Undoubtedly the film will end up as safe venture for all distributors as it needs to collect 8 crores more share in the coming weeks. With no big releases around, Gopala impact will last long until Jr NTR’s Temper hit cinemas in February. Kalyanram’s Pataas may not exert such pressure on this multi-starrer flick.

Telugu Desam Party MLA from Rajendranagar, Prakash Goud heaped praises on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. He declared that Late YS Rajasekhar Reddy and KCR are winning hearts of the people by implementing several welfare programs.
TDP MLA praising arch rivals of Chandrababu – YSR and KCR is definitely an indication of loyalty shift. Leaving no confusion, Prakash Goud offered to join Telangana Rashtra Samiti if the government sanctions 350 Crores to his Assembly segment for various development works.
He also demanded government to offer Manjeera Water to every house in his constituency to get his support. Prakash Goud also recently skipped the legislative meeting of TDP. It is abuzz that three TDP MLAs will be joining Telangana Rashtra Samiti before the Budget Session in February.
The party already lost three MLAs to the ruling party and one of those MLAs, Talasani Srinivas Yadav is currently in KCR’s cabinet. It is known that TDP in Telangana is in severe doldrums after the state bifurcation. With Chandrababu shifting focus on to AP, leaders here are struggling to keep the party floating.

Don’t be under the impression that the mega powerstar Ram Charan’s next story will be on the backdrop of a chartered flight. It is true that Charan is planning to commence flight services known as Turbo Megha but what we are talking about is an incident which has led to a possible film confirmation.

When you think about the heroes of the 90s who are still managing to make their presence felt in today’s time, the name of Rajasekhar is listed in that. He may be going through a record breaking flop streak but that has not stopped him from coming onscreen.
However, the discussion now is about one of his films. It is the horror thriller ‘Patta Pagalu’ directed by the Ram Gopal Varma and all are wondering what is the status. Trailers also came and release was also expected but a sudden silence came in.
While RGV got busy with his other films even Rajasekhar also got busy with his new movie ‘Gaddam Gang’. Inside sources say creative differences between Rajasekhar-Jeevitha and RGV has led the project to a standstill.
Ramu is not the kinds to sit idle so he has gone ahead with his other works, same is the case with Rajasekhar. While it is not sure what the right reason is, let us wish all sets well and ‘Patta Pagalu’ sees the light of the day.

Not up to the extent of Emraan Hashmi in Bollywood, Stylish Star Allu Arjun is ahead by miles from contemporaries in terms of locking his lips with his costars. The Stylish Star who has the Telugu record in lip locks confirmed that he is not going to have any of them going further in his movies.
