Tennis ace Sania Mirza has bagged another bounty prize of Rs.crore from the Telangana Government in recognition of her winning the US mixed double Open title.

The Telangana government announcement came this morning after the chief minister K Chandrasekhar met Sania Mirza at an event yesterday. Official sources say that CM might hand over the cheque to the Tennis ace today at Secretariat.

NTR is going to do his next film under the direction of Sukumar. As per our sources, NTR is impressed with the story narrated by Sukumar. We have already informed that Sukumar is preparing a unique love story for NTR. There were doubts about this project when Young Tiger was in discussions with other directors.
 
NTR has been looking for an image makeover and none of the directors who worked with him in the recent past could fulfill his wish. Sukumar is known for out of the box thinking and penning very different scripts and characters. NTR called upon Sukumar despite the failure of latter’s last film 1 Nenokkadine and asked him to prepare a subject for him.
 
If all goes well, Sukumar’s film will be the 25th film of NTR. His current film under Puri Jagannadh direction will release in January. Sukumar’s film too will be hitting the floors in the same month.

Director KS Ravindra, who is making debut with this film, has made sure that this film has all the ingredients of a complete entertainer. Contrary to previous reports of “no intermission” in Vishnu Manchu-starrer Anukshanam, the makers have finally relented to give a break for audience. “Although at first we didn’t want to give intermission, we later had a change of mind and decided to incorporate an interval. The interval scene is one of the highlights of the film,” says a source in the production house.

When we further asked whose decision it was whether it was RGV’s or actor Vishnu Manchu’s, the makers said, “it’s a collective decision to give break to audience. We should allow them to take a breathe as the movie is intense, gripping.”

The latest controversy that has hit T-town is about the recently released small-budget flick Boochamma Boochodu. The debutante director Revas Yada is fuming at the movie’s lead protagonist Shivaji. Director claims that Shivaji is taking total credit for the “success” of the film and “ignoring” him.

The first-time director, who worked for Gunasekhar for 10-long-years before making his debut with this film, is upset that Shivaji is shunning him for all movie promotions and avoiding him to be part of TV channel interviews.

Whether it is the statement from actress Khushbu or the call of family bonding but the case of actress Shweta Basu Prasad has taken a new turn. Reports say her mother has approached the court seeking the custody of her daughter. 

She has reportedly confirmed that she would take care of her daughter from now on and be with her at all times. Shweta is currently in a rehabilitation home and it is heard that even she has expressed her consent to join her mother. 

If Shweta has to be released then the rehabilitation home authorities need to submit a report to the court explaining her family position. Based on that and the arguments of the victim and the police department, the court will take a call on whether to release Shweta or not.

After a lot of dilly dallying, Mahesh Babu has finally confirmed his availability for the shoot of his next film with director Koratala Siva. Mahesh, who is awaiting for the release of Aagadu, is going to join the shoot of this yet-to-be-titled film from October 3. Mahesh claimed that this is very “unique script” that he will be seen in “never-before-seen” role.

Putting rest to several speculations, Mahesh, also confirmed his upcoming projects. He said he’d be teaming up with his favourite director Puri Jagannadh and as he’s currently in talks with him. 

Mahesh made it clear that he has no plans to act with Gautam in another film. “It’s time for him to focus on his education.”
