Nani and Naresh focusing on same thing

In the recent times, both the heroes Allari Naresh and Nani are not able to click at box office due to poor content. Nani has scored a string of flops with movies like Eto Vellipoyindi Manasu, Paisa, Aaha Kalyanam after delivering a hit like Eega.

He is trying hard to deliver at least an average grosses. It seems like ‘Yevade Subramanyam’ is the movie Nani is waiting from a long time. Teaser of this movie, which has a debutante Nag Ashwin direct it, got some real new stuff. Coming to Naresh’s case, he hasn’t scored a hit after Sudigadu.

All those comedy capers including Action 3D, Yamudiki Mogudu, Kevvu Keka and the experimental Laddu Babu failed big time. Though Brother Of Bommali has done reasonably, our comedy hero is waiting to bounce back with a blockbuster. Now that he is coming up with Indraganti Mohan Krishna’s Bandipotu.

Both these two heroes need a pat because their latest films Yevadu Subramanyam and Bandipotu are looking quite different. While comedy is a regular thing, the themes they have selected as shown in the teasers are standing out. Wish these two will score a hit this year.

Kalyan Ram Uses NTR’s Title

It is nothing short of a feast for your eyes and hearts if you are a Nandamuri fan looking at the way the brothers Nandamuri Kalyanram and Junior NTR are bonding. They have been there for each other through thick and thin which is heart rendering.

Now, it appears that Kalyan Ram has taken a step ahead and used NTR’s title. This is in his new movie ‘Pataas’. Apparently, a dialogue in the film goes like this – ‘Prativaadiki teaspoon antha Temper untundi. Kaani khakhi battalu vesukunna vaadiki tonnullo untundi’.

As you can see, Kalyanram has used the young tiger’s title ‘Temper’ as part of the dialogue. He is essaying the role of a cop in the movie. The unit members say this dialogue is sure to get claps and whistles from the audience in theatres.

‘Pataas’ is hitting the screens on January 23rd and the expectations are high on this one. The Nandamuri camp is having high expectations on this one and fans want to ensure this becomes a success so that it becomes a fitting tribute to the recently departed Nandamuri Janakiram, brother of Kalyanram and NTR.

What’s happening with Yevadu?

It started on January 10th, as they have decided to celebrate the first anniversary of the release of Ram Charan’s Yevadu. And after a week too, the hash tag #1YearForYevadu is still trending in top-ten list on twitter.

One wonders what is happening with this mega movie. In fact, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun’s presence in a single movie is still exciting these hardcore fans. Perhaps they are desiring to see the two mega heroes sizzle side by side this time, which is evident from this trending.

Charan has of late developed strong presence among younger generation fans. Not just this twitter trending but the way his films are amassing a cool 40 crore even after declared as below average products are examples of the mega stardom.

If you are a Telugu person then there is a lot of emotional connect you would have with the recent bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. This is the reason why anything related to both sides gets sensitive. Now, the magnum opus ‘Rudramadevi’ has also fallen into that fray but for an enlightening reason.

The teaser of the movie was unveiled and at the start, the Kakatiya empire’s map is given. If you notice closely, it is not just the Telangana area under their jurisdiction. Many who don’t know history feel Kakatiya empire is restricted to Warangal and surrounding areas.

But looking at the map, discussions began on their actual presence. The Kakatiya empire spans even some parts of Karnataka, Maharashtra. In Andhra, they have extended their rule till Eluru and few parts of coastal Andhra.

Going by this map, it is clear that the Kakatiya ruling cannot just be owned by Telangana, it is the heritage of entire Telugus. Many are coming to this conclusion after looking at the teaser. Abhishek Bachchan is going to spend a whopping Rs 41 Crore on his flat if Bollywood reports are to be believed. Abhishek has purchased a swanky luxury apartment in Mumbai’s posh place which is under construction.

The apartment is on the 37th floor of Skylark Towers in the prime Annie Besant Road area of Worli. It’s learnt that it’s a five-bedroom flat that includes a family room, dining and living rooms, wet and dry kitchens and 20 feet terraces on all sides.

This is one of the few projects in the city where authorities have sanctioned such unusually large terraces. The entire apartment comprises two wings, each 67 floors high. According to media reports, the stamp duty amount for Abhishek’s apartment alone amounts to Rs 2.05 crore.

A separate club house membership fee of Rs 25 lakh and development charges of Rs 35 lakh are also part of the sale agreement. Including all miscellaneous expenditure, the apartment is costing over Rs 41 Crore which is certainly a huge amount.

AR Rahman Misses the Golden Chance!

Award-winning musician AR Rahman has missed a golden opportunity to score a hat-trick at Oscar awards. Having already two Oscars under his belt, Rahman failed to made it to Oscars 2015 final list of nominees.

Rahman who secured to the list of 114 probables for three of his films including Hollywood movies ‘The Hundred-Foot Journey’ and ‘Million Dollar Arm’ and Rajinikanth-starrer Tamil film ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ couldn’t made it to final list in the best original score category at the 87th Academy Awards nominations.

It may be noted that Rahman earlier won the award in the best original score and best original song categories for Danny Boyle’s ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ in 2009. Rahman’s work in ‘127 Hours’ also got him two Academy award nominations in the best original score and best original song category. In fact, Rahman too wasn’t disappointed much by missing the chance.

Before the announcement of nominations, Rahman made it clear that he has “no expectations”. “I don’t have any expectations from it. I think God has been kind to me and this is just a stop in my long journey,” Rahman had said. That’s Rahman for you folks. He takes everything in his stride.
