But he dropped from the movie mid-way and finally made his debut with Sharwanand’s ‘Run Raja Run’. Peppy narration, slapstick comedy and rib-tickling scenes are the prime assets of this young chap. The flick has done remarkably well at box office leaving profits in the pockets of producers and buyers.

Known for his comic timing and taller look, Srinivas Avasarala is always seen as actor by Tollywood until he showcased his skills with ‘Oohalu Gusagusalade’. As this foreign educated filmmaking student crafted a wonderful romantic script that focused more on pure ‘Telugish’ romance than commercial masala content, multiplex audiences liked his work immensely. Despite being a debut director, Srinivas picked two debutants, Naga Shourya and Rashi Khanna for his first film and yet delivered a stunning output. He is here to stay.

KS Ravindra aka Bobby is well known among film circles for being a writer as he got associated with so many leading directors. After working with Raviteja on a couple of films including Don Seenu and Balupu, Ravindra impressed him with the storyline of ‘Power’. The movie hasn’t excited B & C centre audiences as there are no big hair raising moments inside, but still Ravindra’s abilities to handle huge star-cast, big budget and content creation are highly praised. As the film has done moderately well at box office, this debutant went on grabbing chance to direct Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh 2.

Trikoti is well known for his association with ace director SS Rajamouli, not until Jakkanna himself revealed that Trikoti is his senior. Chance has come quite late as it took nearly 15 years for him to become a director. Expressing a big thanks to Rajamouli for helping him in all ways, Trikoti daringly carved a stunning family subject ‘Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya’, which it deals with love story of a father and son, played by Ajay and Naga Shourya, who fall for the some girl. Very balanced handling of this sensitive subject received applause for the director from all quarters. Such filmmakers are needed to improvise Telugu Industry’s take at intelligent scripts.

For every mass-masala director there comes one intelligent science-fiction guy. Here comes Chandu Mondeti, who mixed science and god through his intense thriller ‘Karthikeya’ that revolves around re-opening a closed temple. As the movie progresses scene by scene, the gripping narrative and sheer brilliance of director can be felt every second. That made this Nikhil and Swathi starrer a runaway hit at box office, as buyers have increased theatres from second week. Probably if Telugu movie lovers are looking at science-fiction then Chandu is the director to watch out.

You don’t have to be told but in case you are not a fan of power star Pawan Kalyan then remember that there is an extremely sensitive and emotional relationship his fans share with him. So, anything said or written against him incurs their wrath in a huge way.

For sometime, even the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma also tasted it. Apparently, RGV came up with a tweet which went like this- ‘Oh my God! I heard Shanker is coming on Sankrantri …I wonder what will happen to P K’. With this, many Pawan fans thought Ramu was referring to Pawan’s new movie ‘Gopala Gopala’ which is scheduled to arrive on January 14th.

Mumbai: Actor Vikram, who is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming Tamil magnum opus “I”, will be seen in three different roles and he feels blessed to have got that opportunity. In the film, directed by Shankar, Vikram will be seen as a bodybuilder and a disfigured man. 

“This film has been a blessing for me as I got to play three or rather four very different roles in one film that look different, built different, speak different,” the actor said here Monday during the press conference of the film. “I am blessed that I got to do something like this on-screen,” he added. 

The superstar, who has given remarkable performances in films like “Aparichit”, “Raavan” and others, says he was always inclined towards grey shade characters and always wanted to do “out-of-the box” things. “I grew up doing plays on stage. 

I was more on stage than in the classroom. So I have always wanted to do something different,” the National Award winner said. “Even when I was acting, they (teachers in school) offered me Julius Caesar but I said “let me play Brutus” because it is a grey role. 

So in films also I always wanted to do something out-of-the box something which is not me as far as possible,” he added. “I” also features Amy Jackson and Upen Patel. Upen is currently seen as one of the contestants in “Bigg Boss 8”.

Prominent Bollywood actor and Macho man Salman Khan is facing severe criticism in the southern state of Tamil Nadu. After the super success of Nagarjuna’s first ever TV show, Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu, it is said that his peer and the other senior hero, Victory Venkatesh is also on the verge of making his TV debut. Sources inform that Venkatesh is in talks with a production house to venture in to TV with a Game Show. 

We are said that the game show design is already locked and few rehearsals were also made on the actor. The producers say the game details and format will be kept as a secret for now. They are expected to begin the shooting of this show in February.

The audio release of the movie will take place on January 1st or 3rd at Shilpa Kala Vedhika, Hyderabad. Pawan Kalyan would be seen playing the role of God whereas Venkatesh will be seen as an atheist who sues him.
