What Is Dil Raju’s Biggest Dream?

Share
From distributor to producer, Dil Raju always showed his mettle and today he’s the one among the big-wig producers we have to get that special ‘brand’ status. Though he has taken few beatings in the recent times with big-ticket flops, still his judgmental skills and the production values of his films are talked a lot in film circles. And what is his biggest dream anyway in terms of film industry to achieve? ‘Abbani Teeyani Debba is my all-time favorite song and K Raghavendra Rao is always my favorite director.
It’s my dream to make at least one movie in my life with Darsakendrudu. It’s the biggest dream I’ve’, said Dil Raju, sharing his thoughts. Definitely it’s going to be bigger and better if it is Raghavendra Rao and Dil Raju’s combination, as that director is master craftsmen of box-office masala and the producer is a perfect planner who know where to spend more and when. Wish his dream come true soon.

Will 9 Minutes Save Lingaa?

Share
According to reports, Super Star Rajnikanth’s Lingaa got trimmed by nine minutes to improvise the viewing experience of audiences. With theatrical rights of the movie sold for around 140 crores across the globe, surely this commercial flick has to pull more than it could chew.
But will this chopping really helps? Around 6 minutes in first half and 3 minutes in second half of the flick got chopped, as Lingaa pocketed around 87 crores gross collections from worldwide box offices. On a whole this 9 minute chopping may not do any magic, but will surely let audiences feel that something miraculous has happened.
On the dark side, Lingaa failed to evince interest due to its haphazard narrative and that might end buyers in 30-40% losses, say trade experts. Eros entertainment has brought Lingaa theatrical rights for 120 crores, and sold it to local distributors for decent profits.
All in all, Andhra, Telangana and Tamilnadu local distributors doled around 100+ crores to release the movie. As of now the film is getting good response as Rajni’s fans want to catch the movie even once.

When Allu Aravind Afraid To Release Gangotri

Share
Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s debut film Gangotri has been surprising to many as Arjun’s looks were heavily criticized. The inside news is that at one-time, producer Allu Aravind too didn’t want the movie to hit the screens as he’s afraid that the movie would ‘ruin’ Bunny’s chances in Tollywood ‘forever’. According to none other than director K. Raghavendra Rao, a preview show of Gangotri had been screened for producer Aravind’s close friends and relatives ahead of its release.
Most of his friends and relatives didn’t like the film and told him in privy that the movie would be big ‘minus’ for Arjun if it’s released and would be ‘dampener’ for his prospects in industry. In fact, Allu Aravind too convinced with it, and had wanted to halt the movie release at one point. Coming to know Aravind’s plans through common friend, Raghavendra Rao was deeply upset with it. And asked Aravind what didn’t he like it in film? Aravind shared that the movie was not so engaging enough although he didn’t point out any mistakes.
Hurt with this, KRR had asked Aravind that how come he liked the film’s story when he had narrated before filming? Aravind reiterated that he had liked the story but somehow not convinced with the film. Much to everyone’s shock KRR had again narrated the story to producer Allu Aravind after complete shooting of the film. Later on producers Aravind and Aswini Dutt released the film and the movie turned out to be hit.
Even Raghavendra Rao credited the movie’s success to music composer MM Keeravani as he still feels that the movie was a runaway hit only because of its music. All in all, Raghavendra Rao said that direction wasn’t never easy even after directing as many films as 99 and each film is a learning experience. Raghavendra Rao himself revealed this interesting yet inside story on Gangotri and Allu Arjun.

Join TDP to become TRS Minister!

Share
It is a known fact that the downfall of TDP in Telangana started only after the rise of Telangana Raashtra Samithi in 2001. After 2001, it would not be a surprise to say that TDP has never regained its past glory. At the same time after December 2009, when Chandrababu took a U-turn on Telangana, the TRS boss KCR decided that unless he breaks the roots of TDP here, he cannot sustain and hence since then KCR systematically targeted TDP.
Either due to earlier friendship or a desire to be in the pink bandwagon, several TDP strongmen quit the party and even in the upcoming cabinet expansion, Talasani and Tummala, who quit TDP recently are likely to get cabinet berths.
This is in addition to Mahender Reddy and others from TDP who are already enjoying power while those who were in TRS right from 2001 are being sidelined. Now the latest slogan in TS is that if you want to be TRS minister, then you should be from TDP and if not, atleast join TDP and then go back to become a minister with KCR team!

Who Is Varun Sandesh Blaming Now?

Share
Much to our expectations, Varun Sandesh’s last Friday release ‘Ee Varsham Saashiga’ too has bitten dust, falling in the long marquee of flops he is delivering these days. Including our Happy Days’ hero’s dismal performance, Hari Priya’s glamour and silly double entendre comedy inside the movie have failed to save the ship from sinking. But what is our hero’s take on it? “Script wise, there are no flaws in Ee Varsham Saaskhiga but there problem lies with execution.
It is one of those flicks where execution has gone wrong despite having all resources on board”, says Varun Sandesh, who felt no regrets for yet another flop in his kitty. “Keeping critics and criticsm aside, I saw people in theatres enjoying every moment of the film”, Varun added, as the film saw some good openings that his previous duds.
So, who is he blaming now for the poor show? Maybe critics and directors!! When big stars like Mahesh Babu are saying that a cinema’s hit and failure is always a team work, probably Varun Sandesh is yet stuck with the idea that a hero is the one who just comes on set and acts and leaves. Time to introspect the choice of scripts you’re picking up Varun and how team-work yields fantastic outputs.
