Kodandaram addressing a seminar on ‘‘Agriculture Crisis– Farmers’ Suicides’’ held by the Economics Department of Osmania University on Friday has brought some information about the dislike towards T-Govt. Prof. Kodandaram challenged “There was a need to the farmers to unite as many forces were suppressing the farmers in the context of the globalization, privatization and liberalization policies.
The agriculture sector fell in problems only after the liberalization of economic policies.” He also added ” The farmers were committing suicides as they were not getting minimum support price (MSP).” This is surely a sign of revolt against the TRS Govt. Naidu’s another sketch for Farmers!
Well, Chandrababu known for his plans for Andhra Pradesh has now made a new sketch for the loan waiver of farmers. The government which has promised during the elections about the Loan Waiver has been struggling to get sufficient funds. However, CM already directed to cut down 20% of expenses of every department so that the money can be given to the farmers loans.
Even the budget has allotted Rs 500 crores for the same purpose. Even the banks are not co-operating with the government that wanted to clear the loans in installments. So ,the government has made a new plan to invest the money that come by the selling of the red Sandal wood into the farmers loans. So, this could be a relief to the government of AP! What do you think? Is Babu making the right decision?
Gannavaram Farmers demand Tullur lands
Union Government has decided to extend existing Gannavaram Airport which is nearest to new capital of Andhra Pradesh. Government seeks to increase the standards of Gannavaram Airport. Nearly 500 acres of land require for the extension of Gannavaram Airport. In first phase, Government issued notification to procure 165 acres of land. Lands of four villages comes under Gannavaram Mandal are ready for airport extension.
Farmers from four villages have discussed with Krishna District Collector for compensation in giving up their lands. They are willing to give the lands if Government ready to satisfy their demands. Gannavaram MLA Vamsi and other Farmer Unions also participated in the discussions. They demand the compensation as per the market value for their lands.
In second option, farmers seek the 50 to 100 acres of land near Tullur as compensation for giving their land to Gannavaram Airport. Dawajigudem Colony people demand rehabilitation with all provisions to live in. Collector has assured to take up the issue to state government. It’s interesting that Gannavaram farmers want Tullur lands for compensation.
BO Report: Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham fails to recover costs
Mega Scion Sai Dharam Tej made a smashing start to his career with his debut movie, Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham. The movie has garnered good talk and reviews and made a merry at the box office in the first week of its release. The movie has collected about 7.3 Crore Share in the first week of its release, a very good figure for a debutante.
However surprisingly the movie failed to hold well in the second week of its release. Despite no good releases in the following week, the movie just managed to collect around 1.7 Crore share in the second week. Finally the film will not be recovering its costs. But it is still a good performance by the debutante and can be considered as an ‘Average Grosser’ finally.
Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham has got better opening than Loukyam and Oka Laila Kosam, Thanks to the patronage of Mega Fans. Sai Dharam Tej has got good marks as an actor too hence Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham seem to have served all the purposes for a new comer. Now with Harish Shankar’s Subrahmanyam for Sale in the offing, Sai Dharam Tej certainly has a good lineup and good future in the pipeline.
Actress caught in Hotel with a Cameraman
Seema Tapakaay and Avunu fame Poorna could not get her career going except for a handful of films here and there. She is currently acting in the sequel of Avunu, Avunu 2 which will see the light very soon. It is said that the actress is eyeing a cameraman Bharani who worked for few Telugu films. It is also said that Bharani is taking care of dates, Call Sheets and Remuneration of Poorna.
Both of them are moving close to each other and recently were spotted in a Hotel in Chennai. And people have confirmed that ‘Something’ is going between them. Few people have also started telling that Poorna will very soon enter wedlock with him. On the other side, Avunu 2 Theatrical Trailer has garnered superb response from the audience.
Director Ravi Babu was so impressed with Poorna’s Performance in Avunu and Avunu 2 and in one of his recent interviews, he announced that he is ready to work with Poorna in all his films provided it works out for her. Avunu 2 has finished shooting in the last month and post-production works are going on at full swing from past few weeks. Now that Avunu 2 editing works are nearing completion, makers are planning to release the movie sometime soon.
First For Rajni In 40 Years, But Tough!!
For the first time in his illustrious career of 40 years, Superstar Rajnikanth will be witnessing a release on his birthday. As said earlier, KS Ravikumar directorial ‘Lingaa’ is slated to hit cinemas on December 12, on the eve of this demi-god’s birthday. Provided with the huge stakes involved in distribution of the film and no holiday season around, it will quite tough for the Superstar to command big numbers at box office.
Isn’t it? Leave the making costs alone, Rajni’s “Lingaa” was sold all-out in Tamilnadu for a whopping cost of 70 crores to the distributors. Only a big blockbuster will help suffice pockets to recover this gigantic number. And coming to Andhra and telangana, various local distributors have flexed their muscles upto 30 crores as Eros International is still holding discussions.
In fact, Eros brought Lingaa’s India theatrical rights for a whopping Rs 125 Crores and that led to this huge betting. Probably they will be selling whole movie with 20 crores profit and distributors need to collect a gross of nearly 230 crores to recover their investment. Rajni’s first in 40 years will be finding it tough until and unless it scores a tsunami at box office.

Robert Vadra used to behave as extra constitutional power and as Sonia herself controlled PM Manmohan Singh turning him into a dummy, this comes as no surprise. Telelka revealed that all the three used to frighten private aircraft carriers using their power and never used to pay the bills travelling for free. In the last two to three years, we have seen a lot of statements being made quoting ‘Atma Gouravam’ and sentiments getting hurt. And this gets more sensitive if it has to do with religion or a particular community. But that didn’t seem to affect one filmmaker who has made a comeback of sorts in Tollywood.
He is none other than S V Krishna Reddy and after looking at his latest offering ‘Yamaleela 2’, the reactions from the audience has been like this. Apparently, there are few scenes in the film which revolve around the hero and heroine spending time with members of a particular community. The roles are essayed by Chalapathi Rao, Sivaji Raja and few others.
Well, few jokes were canned on their characters and it has hit upon the logic and common sense. While most of it was taken on a lighter vein, some are waiting to see how the community people would react. Few others said some of the jokes have been taken from the circulating mobile jokes. As long as they add value to the box office collections that’s what matters.

Raj Lakshmi, youngest daughter of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav will soon enter into wedlock with Former UP chief minister Mulayam Singh’s grand nephew Tej Pratap Yadav. Insiders reveal that both Lalu and Mulayam are getting ready to meet in Delhi to finalise wedding formalities.
Their engagement is expected to be in middle of December and wedding in February. Tej Partap recently became lawmaker from Mainpuri, a constituency vacated by Mulayam Singh Yadav. He is the grand son of Ratan Singh, elder brother of Mulayam Singh. Tejpal was born on 21,Nov ,1987 in Saifai, Etawah district.
