One success changes fortunes forever. Ask this hot lady, anchor Syamala, and she’s quick with reply. “I’m entertaining on small-screen from years, with small roles in TV serials and hosting shows. But the way couple of movies have catapulted me into limelight is amazing”, avers Syamala, who is running high with the super success of Loukyam and then Oka Laila Kosam. After playing heroine’s sister in Loukyam, Syamala got noticed and then her act as sister of Naga Chaitanya in Oka Laila Kosam won attention. 

“I’m not confident about acting for silver screen. But director Vijay Konda convinced me to take up Oka Laila Kosam offer and then explained the difference between TV and cinema. That helped me deliver the best”, she adds. Is she just limited to these sister roles or having any plans like Anasuya to become a solo heroine? “

Already many producers approached me for item numbers in big flicks, which I’m not game for. I can’t seriously turn an item lady”, Syamala states. Calling that her mother is her pillar of strength before getting married, she revealed that her mother-in-law and husband’s support has led her to where she is standing now. “I owe to my family a lot. As I got a family-image on silver screen too, I’ll continue to take up roles in that direction”, she signed off.

Reading the headline might make you wonder how a comedian like Ali and a character artist like Nagababu are being put in the league of star hero Nagarjuna. But there is a good bit of truth to it. The platform here is not the silver screen but the small screen. Among the film actors, the way Nag is ruling TV circuit, same is the case with Ali and Nagababu. 

Despite having a hectic schedule with films, Ali is making his presence felt in TV through his programs like ‘Ali Talkies’ in MAA channel along with hot anchor Anasuya and then a game show named ‘ATM’ in the Gemini TV. Prior to this, Ali hosted the show ‘Ali 369’ (who is this Katravalli) in the ETV channel. 

As for the megabrother Nagababu, he was seen in the famous TV serial ‘Sikharam’ and now he is seen laughing heartily to the jokes in the super hit program ‘Jabardasth’. Both Ali and Nagababu get paid in huge figures. While Nag is ruling the roost with ‘Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu’, the other two are constantly busy with their gigs.

Young Tiger NTR’s Temper is becoming the talking point in T-Town. Film starring NTR and Kajal is progressing at brisk pace under the direction of Puri Jagannath. Bandla Ganesh who is producing the film released the logo and it created tremendous impact with Temper name in Telugu and English in the backdrop of explosion looking colors.

Recently police busted a spa in Versova in Mumbai where a sex racket was run. Much to the shock of them they found that the property was owned by Bollywood’s top actress Priyanka Chopra. It cameout that Priyanka leased her property to Charishma Spa. 

When the spa was launched in a grand manner sometime back, Priyanka’s mother and brother Madhu, Siddharth were also present. A source says the 3000 sft property belongs to Priyanka and her mother’s clinic and police who raided the spa found that it was used for flesh trade and belonged to Priyanka. 

Police rescued three women and arrested manager of the spa Dinesh Chandrakanth. Manik Soni owner of the spa was absconding. Priyanka owns the second floor of Vastu Precinct building in Andhri. Police too confirmed the news and said they were looking into the details of the agreement between Priyanka and the spa owners. Priyanka was disturbed on hearing this news.

Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who has been linked romantically to her “Tevar” co-star Arjun Kapoor, says if they work together and watch films together, it doesn’t mean they’re in a relationship. Responding to the dating rumours, Sonakshi said: “I don’t react to these rumours. You should ask people who write about it. If we work together and if we watch a film together, it doesn’t mean you are in a relationship.”

Meanwhile, the actress is also happy that she got an opportunity to share screen space with megastar Rajinikanth in southern film “Lingaa”. Talking about the film, she said: “This film is in two parts — one is present day and the other one is set in 1940. The story is well written and more than a romantic interest, my character is a supporter who encourages him (Rajinikanth). So it was easier for me. I am extremely happy to work with Rajini sir.”

Chandra Mohan started his career during the black and white era. At that time, he was a big hero for small producers. In fact, many heroines debuted with him, including top actresses like Sridevi. Over the years, Chandra Mohan was relegated to playing character roles like that of a father, brother, uncle, etc. 

If there was a big film, Chandra Mohan would surely get a role in it. But now, he says he is being sidelined and that he is no longer called for films. “I am still active and I can tell my dialogues clearly. I am not sure why I am not being considered,” says he. 

One reason could be that people like Rao Ramesh and Ahuti Prasad have come into the industry and have become successful and another reason could be that Chandra Mohan had become too routine. Well, whatever be the reason, it cannot be denied that he is a good artiste.

Well, this is a sad news to the fans out there about the absence of the two Tollywood top celebrities who are just coming and gracing the ceremony for a very short time. They are Pawan and Mahesh. The Tollywood industry has come up with the target of raising fund for the Hudhud relief fund. 

However, the two biggies were said to be doing some kind of activity that would entertain their fans under Trivikram’s direction but are may not do is the rumour. However, we cannot estimate any surprises from this fund raising event. It seems there are stars cricket match, comedy skit shows, dances, Kabaddi and Tambola but to name some entertaining events on November 30th and adding to that there is also dinner with stars which will be held at JRC Convention & Trade Fairs, Jubilee Hills.  

This would be a dream come true for many fans! It seems that Pawan and Mahesh are not attending few of the programs which will surely be a disappointment to their fans. They are also not being available for the dine with fans. What d you think?

Nandamuri Balakrishna had a very happy 2014 with Blockbuster Success of Legend and later getting elected to Hindupur Assembly constituency with record majority. We will have to see what the actor does to fans with this film, the first release after the actor began his political innings. Trisha and Radhika Apte are paired opposite Balayya in the film. Manisharma is scoring music for the film.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is all set to enthrall fans with the first look of his ‘Gopala Gopala’ tomorrow. As Tollywood film employees federation once again issued a notice for a flash strike, which we have reported already, there is no scope for films to continue with their shooting. For ‘Temper’, there are chunks of shooting pending though Puri Jagan is not wasting any single minute. Even Gopala Gopala needs to be wrapped up as a song featuring Pawan and Venky is still at large, while there is some unfinished talkie part too. 

With release dates set for Temper on January 9, Gopala Gopala on January 14, the strike might hinder their chances of making big on Sankranthi festival. Any delay would push these biggies to next possible dates. As the trouble is brewing, talks are going on between producers and employees to resolve the crisis at rocket speed.
