Even as WhatsApp is making inroads, new app Telegram is turning a viable alternative to WhatsApp. It is becoming stronger and giving tough competition to WhatsApp.
Telegram Messenger App, Ngram is making rapid inroads. The whole story started when Telegram team decided to open source their app development. It comes with all the facilities like self destruction of messages, unlimited cloud storage, use on multiple devices,video delivery upto a GB, quick and secure encryption. However it has drawbacks of no voice messages and is very similar to WhatsApp.

If the sources are to be believed, Kriti has bagged an offer to romance King Khan Shahrukh in his upcoming Raees. Kriti Sanon is the frontrunner to bag the female lead character in this film which will start rolling shortly. Kriti is doing Singh is Bling with Akshay Kumar and Farzi with Shahid Kapoor already.
Kriti is also roped in for Housefull 3 besides a film called Bhavesh Joshi in which she stars opposite Siddharth Malhotra. Kriti is surely the next big thing in B town and she is all set to test her luck in Tollywood very soon. She is the female lead in Naga Chaitanya’s untitled thriller directed by Sudheer Varma.
TRS hits hard on Centre’s back!
Here’s something that Centre is got to react on the alleagtions made by the TRS MP Vinod Kumar who hit back on the Central Government about taking the issue of power crisi in Telangana so lightly and granted. MP has fired the officials for showing bias to the states and for not implementing the Reoraganisation act to the fullest.
After the meeting with the Union Power Secretary he addressed the media saying that Centre should intervene into the power crisis problem in Telangana State and resolve it immediately. He urged in implementing the AP Reorganization Act in full force. The TRS MP also asked the Centre to grant them the rightful share from the Lower Seeleru, Krishnapatnam and Anantapur Power Grids as initial steps to overcome the crisis that has been a biggest problem of the state for its agriculture also.
He even claimed that AP has less coal availability but also got many power production projects which seems to be a partial act to the AP state. However, the reorganisation act should be implemented was the stressed subject and give Telangana its right share in all kinds of things.
Mahesh Babu to Endorse a Hospital!

Pawan Kalyan buys land in Vizag?
According to grapevine, actor-Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan said to have bought a land in Vizag’s posh, busy area. Pawan apparently doled out a hefty sum to own the property in the port city. And it’s learnt that it’s just residential land and not a commercial property.
Amid widespread speculations that Telugu Film Industry has plans to shift its base to Vizag or Tada, and already several from film fraternity, including Telangana, bought lands in and around Vizag, Pawan Kalyan buying land is setting tongues wagging in T-town. However, we hear that it’s more like an investment keeping future in mind and the actor-politician said to have no immediate plans to shift his base.
Meanwhile, real-estate sector in Vizag is booming especially post Hudhud cyclone. Already AP government, Centre have declared their joint plans to develop city into a smart city with a three-overhead corridor Metro Rail Project, many are vying up to set up their investments in Vizag. Adding to this, the rates in Vijayawada and Guntur have reached heights which compelling many to look towards Vizag which is expected to be future destination of IT industry.
Dil Raju spends a Bomb on Allu Arjun
Producers of Allu Arjun’s current film are smiling all the way to the bank as the buyers are spending a fortune to grab the rights of this movie. As per latest reports from the trade circles, Nizam distribution rights of this film are bagged by Dil Raju for 14 crore rupees. Yes, you heard it right… FOURTEEN CRORES! Dil Raju bought the distribution rights of this film for 14 crores on NRA basis.
This is one of the biggest ever deals in the history of Telugu cinema. Allu Arjun’s previous film Race Gurram has collected close to eighteen crores in Nizam. Also Trivikram’s previous film Attarintiki Daredi has set new benchmark in this area with a share of 24.5 crores.
Dil Raju might have taken those facts into consideration to spend a bomb on this one. This film is doing superb business in all the areas as buyers are having high hopes on the Julayi duo to pull off another blockbuster. Going by the trend, this film will surely be up there amongst the best ever pre release earners of Tollywood.
Srinu Vaitla in trouble with false Claims!
A section of media reported that director Srinu Vaitla is being made a scapegoat for the failure of Aagadu. As per reports Srinu Vaitla has denied taking twelve crore rupees as remuneration for Aagadu. He said he was paid only nine crores for the film and also claimed that the budget of the film is overblown in the media. Aagadu project was done within the estimated budget as per Srinu Vaitla.
The director is not happy for being solely blamed for the failure of Aagadu. Producers of this film are upset with the false claims of Srinu Vaitla says the gossip winery. 14 Reels Entertainment is planning to approach Film Chamber and Producers Council to produce the facts about the budget and remuneration given to the director.
They want to take severe action against Srinu Vailta for spreading false news about the money spent on the film. Looks like Aagadu has done permanent damage to the relationship between 14 Reels owners and Srinu Vaitla who have worked together for Namo Venkatesa, Dookudu and Aagadu.
Congress Will Be The Next Alternative: Chiranjeevi
Mega star Chiranjeevi was in Vizag to participate in the birthday celebrations of late Indira Gandhi. On the occasion, Chiranjeevi said that the Congress party would emerge as the next alternate option in the coming days. He also remembered Indira Gandhi as the iron lady who was an able leader. Speaking about the current situation in Andhra Pradesh, he expressed hope that the Congress will regain its past glory very soon.
Chiranjeevi said that people will soon realize the potential of India’s oldest party in near future. Meanwhile, ex MLA Dronamraju Srinivas said that while the youth Congress members appeared to be excited when leaders like Chiranjeevi toured the district, they felt dejected and directionless on other days. Chiranjeevi called upon the cadre to actively participate in party activities and said that they must all go ahead together.
He said this was no time to talk of past mistakes of Congress party. But he was sure that people will understand that it was Congress that laid the foundation for prosperity in Andhra Pradesh.
Horse riding experience leaves Nikesha Patel bruised
Southern actress Nikesha Patel’s first tryst with horse riding on the sets of her Kannada film “Aaalone” and Tamil thriller “Karaioram” has left her badly bruised. “Horse riding for the first time in #Aaalone and #Karaioram sets. Badly bruised (sic),” Nikesha tweeted Wednesday.
Nikesha, who is currently enjoying the successful run of her Kannada film “Namaste Madam”, has Tamil films “Narathan” and “Sigandi” in the pipeline. Nikesha is also awaiting the release of Telugu film “RUM”.
Will KCR Script the Death of Osmansagar & Himayathsagar?
There are ambitious statements from the TRS-led government in Telangana on reviving all old lakes in the state, which is being welcomed by everyone with appreciation but the manner in which KCR has taken stand on GO 111 is causing nightmares to environmentalists.
The catchment areas of the two major sources of drinking water to the city , Osmansagar and Himayathsagar, would be coming under increased threat from construction activity with TRS boss KCR considering the relaxing of G.O 111 which protects till the10 km radius of the catchment areas of these two lakes. Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has stated that the government would soon withdraw restrictions that were imposed by the G.O which was issued in March, 1996, bringing 84 villages that fall in the catchment area of these two fresh water lakes as part of bio-conservation zone.
The objective was to protect the areas that feed both Himayathsagar and Osmansagar. When real estate boom picked up around 2005 in Hyderabad, the land prices skyrocketed in surrounding areas promoting the then chief minister YSR to relax G.O. 111 in Shamshabad and Vattinagulapally but he retracted due to objections raised by some environmentalists, who feel that the government is surrendering to real estate lobby.
