According to the latest it is coming out that Manchu family members Mohan Babu, Manchu Manoj, Manchu Vishnu, Lakshmi Prasanna will form two groups and play kabaddi match. The non stop entertainment program will be held on Nov 30th and many stars like Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, NTR are coming with their own programs. All the funds collected will be donated to AP Chief Minister relief fund.

Music director Thaman celebrated his 31st birthday, at the sets of Prashanth’s upcoming Tamil film ‘Sahasam’. Actor Prashanth, who is making a comeback to films, gifted Thaman, a Toyota Fortuner car as a gift for his tremendous work.

Interestingly Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri recently shot an item song for the film with Prashanth. She grooved to the song with over 100 dancers. ‘Saahasam’, which is produced by Thiagarajan, is being directed by Arun Raj Varma and it features Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead role.

Telugu superstar Ravi Teja is all set to play the role of actor Akshay Kumar in Telugu remake of Special 26. Confirming this Ravi, who is at the moment shooting for the sequel to the Telugu version of Kick says, “The Telugu-Tamil producer Thyagarajan who is actor Prashanth’s father has bought the South Indian rights for two notable Hindi films Vikas Behl’s Queen and Neeraj Pandey’s Special 26. He wants me to play Akshay Kumar’s role in the Telugu version of Special 26.” Ravi Teja feels a special bonding with Akshay Kumar. “Akshay and I even look similar physically. 

This is not true with Salman Khan who did the remake of my Kick. We are completely different actors. But Akshay and I are similar. When he did Rowdy Rathod he was gracious enough to say he couldn’t do the things that I did in the original. Hopefully I can do at least some of the things that Akshay did in Special 26,” said Ravi Teja According to Ravi, the remake will be different from original. “Special 26 was a raw and real film. It is very different from what Akshay usually does.

I can’t afford to be different. My fans would never forgive me. Audiences like me doing action and comedy. I am a jovial person from childhood and so I remain. I like to laugh my way through my work. Lakshmi Manchu’s Horror Comedy film, Pilavani Perantam began on Tuesday in Hyderabad. Comedian Dhanraj will be seen in an important role in the film and the opening shot of the film was canned on Lakshmi Manchu and Dhanraj. But no sooner did the movie launch complete, In what can be termed as a shocker, Dhanraj was shown door from the project. 

In to the details, Lakshmi Manchu was offended as Dhanraj claimed to be the hero of the film. It is said that people mocked Lakshmi in Twitter over pairing up with a second grade comedian like Dhanraj. The Manchu Lady was visibly hurt and threatened to step out of the project if Dhanraj is not removed. The makers then have no choice but to show him the door immediately. Lakshmi Manchu reportedly also used several cuss words on Dhanraj. Jagan Nirdoshi fame Venkanna Babu is directing the film. 

Off late, Lakshmi Manchu has become selective in her films off late. The other film of the actress, Budugu is gearing up for release. She plays the central character in this film which is based on a real life incident. Budugu is directed by Manmohan and Sreedhar Rao plays the male lead.
