Many who witnessed the Telangana assembly proceedings on Monday mostly took it as an entertaining phase rather than recognizing it as serious debate for the welfare of Telangana. From ruling party to opposition, everybody managed to dig out their own past grasping the present tense while jumping out of future events. Majorly power crisis issue sparked off a major debate in the house, with TDP’s fire brand Revant Reddy’s counters and challenges to TRS while KCR’s flare-ups at TDP. 

And when even Congress is the second largest party in the state, was it just mostly kept mum over this giant issue. However, the entire debate also produced laughs when the politicians babbled in emotions passing bucks onto each other. “Do we have any Aladdin Lamp to produce power” KCR. “If the CM at least fetches an extra 15000 megawatts, we will anoint KCR” Revant Reddy. “jamuriat mein awaam badi hoti hain jo faisla karti hain ( In democracy people make decisions) and whomever those people believed in, handed over the power to them” Akabaruddin Owaisi.

A girl for her detained lover embarrassed the police with her consecutive mid-night protests in front of three police stations. The incident took place in Kakinada where a girl maintained a stoic resistance against the police who detained her lover after filing 4 cases on him. 

Reportedly, Soumya and Kaushik fell in love and when they told this matter to their parents, Soumya’s father locked her in home and forcing to file 4 cases against Kaushik. And following all this mess, the police arrested Kaushik on Monday and girl rushed to Sarpavarma police station from where she almost crossed three police stations staging at least 1 hour protest at every police station. Finally the girl found her love at Timmpauram police station.

Telangana Telugu Desam party’s firebrand Revant Reddy is wielding his sharp tongue to lambast the ruling party TRS in assembly sessions. Undoubtedly, Revant Reddy just in two days has shot to an instant fame with his never-down gun towards KCR and his entourage. 

Now as the chief minister said the government would take a stringent action those who got double entries in the household survey, Revant Reddy immediately countered it by subjecting none other than KCR’s daughter TRS MP Kavita to the target. “Very happy that the CM had said he would take stringent actions against those who got double entries, I ask, Nizamabad MP Kavita got double entries, one at Navyapet village and one in Hyderabad…I ask the CM what decisions he had taken against the officials who enrolled her name and what decisions against her” he shot right amid the TRS leaders.

Mumbai: After Uddhav Thackeray hit out at All-India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, his party Shiv Sena today stepped up attack on the Hyderabad-based outfit, accusing it of poisoning the minds of minority community and demanded that Maharashtra government take strict action against it. “The Owaisi brothers (MP Asaduddin and MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi) are in the habit of conceiving and spreading fundamentalist ideas. 

Both of them have poisoned the minds of Muslims in the country. After achieving success in Nanded Municipal Corporation, they now want to spread their wings to the Marathwada region,” the Sena said in an editorial in its mouthpiece Saamana. In an apparent reference to AIMIM, which won two seats in recently held Maharashtra assembly elections, Uddhav had on Sunday said, “Forces which are dangerous for Hindus have raised their heads in the recent Assembly polls.” Backing former Union Home Minister and senior Congress leader Sushil Kumar Shinde’s daughter Praniti’s comments seeking a ban on the outfit, the Sena said people should come forward and support her. “Praniti Shinde has only conveyed the sentiments of the people of India. 

Only Shiv Sena has been against the working style of AIMIM. Now even the Congress is speaking against the party, which is admirable,” it said. “The AIMIM has won two seats in the assembly polls and won second or third place in 14 constituencies across the state. This has emboldened them. (Devendra) Fadnavis government should take strict action against this party. Shinde has made her stance very clear, which cannot be ignored. Shiv Sena will stand firmly behind her,” it saidAIMIM made its debut in Maharashtra walking away with substantial chunk of Muslim votes in many areas and winning two seats. Though only two (journalist Imtiaz Jaleel from Aurangabad and Waris Pathan from Byculla) of its 26 nominees won, it has rankled established parties in many constituencies. (PTI)

If Finance Minister Etela Rajender’s statement in the Asssembly has to be believed, the intensive household survey conducted by the TRS government recently had helped in reuniting couples who were divided for divorce or got separated due to family disputes. According to the Finance Minister, many couples who had either applied for divorce or living separately for a long time came together following the survey. “Such are the benefits of the household survey.

The survey was intended to help the government to protect the welfare and interests of the weaker sections including the SCs, STs, BCs and minorities,” he observed. When MIM Floor leader Akbarudsin Owaisi asked whether the government has any intensions of tabling the report of the survey in the Assembly, Rajender said that as per the directions of the court confidential and private matters of individuals in the survey cannot be made public.

Telangana Chief Minister KCR is facing huge protests from various quarters in the state with his approach regarding implementation of existing government schemes. In his efforts to find out bogus beneficiaries, he is making government officials to register names of people once again in the name of comprehensive survey etc. But his methods are backfiring turning people angry. 

Now aged, handicapped and widows started protesting alleging gross discrepancies in the implementation of KCR’s pet project AASARA. They questioned how could their names miss from government list thorough that are residing for years at the same place. While in Mahaboobnagar angry people locked officials in government offices, in Medak people burnt effigies of KCR. 

Protests are also increasing against KCR across all parts of Telangana. Even opposition parties joined protests of people who asked govt to include their names and do justice. They said TRS party cheated them by promising to do good by going Telangana but instead torturing them.

Is Harish Rao a better CM than KCR? This question do not arise as KCR is the Chief Minister of Telangana and till he holds reigns of TRS, neither his nephew Harish Rao nor his son KTR will have chance to become CM of Telangana. However TDP firebrand leader Revanth Reddy shocked all saying Harish Rao would be a better CM than KCR.

Speaking in the assembly lobby, Revanth Reddy said at present there is no rule in Telangana under CM KCR’s leadership and Harish Rao makes a better CM than KCR. He adviced TRS party not to concentrate on wipe out other parties by inviting opposition leaders in their fold but concentrate on providing good rule. He said sometime back KCR confessed that his ancestors are from Bihar. He asked why did Telangana Govt lodge protest with Union Government on IAS allocation.
