Nandamuri Balakrishna is nearing 100 film mark and now he is balancing time between films and politics. The actor even though is keeping himself busy is no less committed in his acting profession. The actor was off late shooting for the older character of his 98th film and had gained some weight for the right look. Now that he had also agreed for his 99th film in the direction of Srivas.

The director requested Balayya to be fit for the character and the senior actor is on a rigorous diet and workout for the role. It is said that this film will go on floors very soon after Balayya completes his current film in the direction of Satyadeva. Loukyam team Kona Venkat, Gopimohan and Sreedhar Seepanna will be working on this script as well. Sivalanka Prasad who previously produced Mitrudu with Balakrishna will be making a comeback with this project. 

Although it is not confirmed, the director is looking to rope in Mani Sharma to score music for this project. We are hearing reports that the movie has a mafia backdrop. Srivas is currently riding on a high as his recent film, Loukyam went on to become the biggest hit of Gopichand’s career. The film is also one of the biggest hits of the year in terms of Return on Investment.

Superstar Mahesh Babu who was cruising on success till Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu sudden hit roadblocks with his two recent releases – 1-Nenokkadine and Aagadu. 1-Nenokkadine managed to get some good name for the actor but Aagadu is a total disappointment as it failed despite being a mass masala entertainer.Now the actor is keen to make amends with his next film directed by Koratala Siva. Mahesh Babu usually have a sentiment for every film of his. 

The actor do not participate in the first shot of any of his films. Directors plan in such a way they shoot a little schedule of the film with out involving the actor right after the regular shooting begins. However Mahesh broke the sentiment with Koratala film. The first shot of the film was shot on Mahesh himself couple of days ago. A song is being canned on the actor and Shruti Hassan right now and the movie unit will head to Pune after this schedule.

Jagapathi Babu will be playing Mahesh Babu’s father in the movie. Shruti Hassan who shook her booty for an item number in Aagadu will be romancing the actor in this film. Popular Overseas distributors Mytri Film Makers are turning producers for this film. Yerineni Naveen, Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar (Thammudu) and CVM (Mohan) are the producers. Devi Sri Prasad will be composing the music.

‘Ishq’ actor Nithiin is a hardcore fan of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. Nithiin never misses a chance to show his love towards Pawan. Currently, this ‘Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde’ actor is busy with his upcoming movie ‘Chinnadana Neekosam’. Shooting part is almost completed and Nithiin is trying hard to get Pawan Kalyan for the audio launch. In the past, Pawan said that he likes Nithiin among the younger generation actors. Moreover, Pawan’s favourite director Karunakaran is directing ‘Chinnadana Neekosam’. 

So, Nithiin and his team are confident enough that Pawan Kalyan will grace their audio function and bless their team. Mishti Chakraborthy is the leading lady and Anup Rubens is composing the music. Vikram Goud is presenting the film and Nikitha Reddy is producing ‘Chinnadana Neekosam’ under Sresht Movies banner. Audio launch is likely to take place on November 25, 2014.

Actress Diah Nicolas, who hails from South Africa, says it was filmmaker S.V Krishna Reddy, who taught her the basics of acting while working on his upcoming Telugu fantasy drama “Yamaleela 2”. “Acting happened by accident. I was literally picked up off the street by a casting agent during my trip to India. I was never interested in films. It was my director Krishna Reddy, who brought out the actor in me. He made me believe in myself that I can actually act,” Diah told media. 

While Diah struggles to get the hang of facing the camera, she admits it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of her director. “Krishna sir patiently waited for me to get used to facing the camera. He didn’t mind doing a shot a few more times just to make me comfortable,” she said. “Yamaleela 2”, which is an extension of 1994 Telugu hit “Yamaleela”, is a mythological film aimed at impressing family audiences as well. Entrepreneur-turned-actor K.V. Satish plays the lead, while Manchu Mohan Babu features in an important role.

Juluri Ramana Rao, husband of popular yesteryear Tollywood actress Jamuna passed away on November 10th, 2014 due to cardiac arrest. 87 year old Juluri Ramana Rao an Ornithologist and a Zoology Professor from SV University later worked for survival of birds.

He is survived by his wife 78 year old Jamuna, son Vamsi Krishna and daughter Sravanthi. Juluri Ramana Rao’s father was a district collector under British Rule. Film celebrities started visiting Jamuna’s residence in Hyderabad to pay their final tributes.

Pretty starlet Rakul Preet Singh is on a high with hits coming to her like a rising sun every day. Already she scored full marks in glamour department and what it takes to become the next big league actress are a couple of big hits and improvised performance. 

What could be such a big ticket entertainer for Rakul other than Ravi Teja’s upcoming flick ‘Kick 2′, which is being carved by creative filmmaker Surender Reddy? However, rumours are doing rounds from a couple of days that this hot Delhi siren is kicked out from Kick 2. What’s the reason? ’24 year old Rakul Preet is not suiting 50+ Raviteja’, stated rumour mills.

But both Rakul and director Surender Reddy refuted these rumors, adding that Tollywood employee’s strike made Rakul take leave from Kick 2 shoot and attend her Bollywood commitments. Already she has wrapped up a schedule of shoot for the flick and will be joining the crew again.

After directing Allu Sirish in Kotha Janta, director Maruti hasn’t announced about his next. According to reports, Maruti is now working on a script which will have fresh faces. Buzz is that there will be three new heroes and three new heroines in the film. Presently, Maruti is giving final touches to the script. If all goes well, the film will go onto the floors in January. Meanwhile, Maruti is busy on production spree as many films are due for release under his banner including Kai Raja Kai which will be released in November. 

Although Maruti’s movies managed to made money at BO, he has earned a tag of youth filmmaker as his films are filled with “double entendre”. However, Maruti vowed that he would be extra-cautious from this time on wards and said he would erase that image soon. Now that he’s back with making a film with newcomers, there are several apprehensions on it whether Maruti sticks to his trademark formula or go against as stated. Let’s wait and see.

It’s the turn of R. Madhavan to shed his extra kilos and focus on his fitness. Madhavan, who will be seen as a boxer in his forthcoming film, is busy working out in gym and shed over 15 kilos. Madhavan has been extensively training in Los Angeles to suit the role. Titled ‘Laal’, the film will be directed by Mani Ratnam’s previous associate Sudha Kongara and it’s a Hindi-Tamil bilingual film. 

Apparently director Sudha and Madhavan have worked over a year on script and reportedly took inspiration from Mohammad Ali’s life in boxing ring and added few fictions to it. Madhavan was quoted as saying, “I’ve been in LA training and preparing for my part. My entire body structure and body language has changed. I now walk and think like a boxer.” 

Besides this, the yesteryear ‘chocolate boy’ is also gearing up for another Hindi film Tanu Weds Manu 2, sequel to previous blockbuster of the actor. Maddy admits that his part in the sequel exactly starts where he left off in the original. Kangana too reprising her own role in the sequel.
