First Mega Hero to participate in Clean India Campaign
Swachha Bharat campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is brought to Tollywood with ace Indian businessman Anil Ambani nominating Nagarjuna to take up the challenge. And honestly accepting the challenge, Nagarjuna and his entire Akkineni family cleaned the premises around Annapurna Studios. He then dared rather extended challenge to actors Allu Arjun, Sudeep.
Now Bunny responded to Nag challenge and accepted this with a smile.Allu Arjun said that he will soon take up the challenge. “I thank Nagarjuna garu for nominating me for #SwachhBharat mission. Soon will be a part of that mission,” posted Allu Arjun on his official Facebook page. With Allu Arjun taking up the challenge we can hope that many more Tollywood celebrities will join the campaign.

Romance between Venkatesh’s on screen Son & Daughter
Kruthika Nair, the cute young beauty who played Venkatesh daughter in Drishyam film is returning as Telugu heroine. Drishyam script revolved on Kruthika character which bought her good identity. Rajinikanth under Rs 130 Crore Pressure
South superstar Rajinikanth is reportedly under immense pressure as he has to rake in over Rs 130 Crore with his next film “Lingaa” in order to bail out the hefty losses incurred to distributors due to his previous film “Kochadaiyaan”. The 3D experimental film directed by her own daughter Soundarya R. Ashwin suffered losses of Rs 40 Crore. In order to cover it up, Rajini is said to have deliver blockbuster with “Lingaa”.
With producer Rockline Venkatesh, reportedly pumping in 70 crores and is expected to do business for 90 plus crores business, so, Rajni’s task has almost ‘doubled’ and now it all depends on Rajni’s charisma and director K S Ravikumar’s script. “Trailer has received mixed response, unlike Robo trailer, which had hit bull’s eye,” says a distributor.
Expected to be released on Rajni’s birthday (Dec 12), Rajini is going to be in tense mood as he would be keeping his fingers crossed over the result of “Lingaa”. Ram Challenges Four Heroines For Swachh Bharat
Accepting the challenge from Loksatta chief Jayaprakash Narayana, young and dynamic hero Ram Pothineni has today cleaned up a government school with his dearest fans. This is part of Swachh Bharat inititative kick-started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After taking part in the cleanliness driver earlier, JP has nominated Pawan Kalyan, Rajamouli and others.
“I did like to take this opportunity to nominate our dearest sweethearts of Telugu film industry Samantha, Hansika, Tamanna and Rakul Preet Singh”, said Ram, after cleaning the government school premises. But why he nominated these four heroines in particular rather other heroes?
“I personally know them as they run charitable institutions and orphanages, and care for the society”, he says, stressing why he made the choice. Also the young hero nominated popular heart specialist, Vijayawada based Dr Ramesh Babu (Ramesh Hospitals), who happens to be his uncle. “Let’s all come together and clean up India”, Ram concluded.
Good news for Vizagites
Good news for Vizagites. The Hudhud-battered Vizag, which is yet to be recovered from the swathe of destruction caused due to the natural calamity, is all set to have three overhead corridors for its Metro Rail Project in the city. It’s common knowledge by now that Vizag is going to get a Metro Rail Project. While the initial plan is to build it in one overhead corridor project in about 25 Km in first phase, the latest plan is to make it 3 overhead projects at a stretch of 40 km.
Metro guru and Ex- MD of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) E. Sreedharan hinted the same. However, other officials of civic body who also visited Vizag for two-days on Tuesday and Wednesday are silent on the latest developments. The GVMC had planned four corridors earlier and they are- Maddilapalem NH to NAD Junction for 10 km, Railway Station to Gajuwaka via Scindia for 14.73 km, Tagarapuvalasa NH to Hanumanthuwaka via Gajuwaka for 14 km, and NH at NAD junction to Gajuwaka for 8.5 km.
But according to media reports, the new corridors are different from the corridors proposed by the GVMC (Greater Vizag Municipal Corporation) and the team found alternative high-ridership corridors keeping in view of economy measures and just connecting the existing transport facilities such as RTC Complex and Railway Station.The potential new corridors are expected to be- Maddilapalem to Gajuwaka or Kurmanapalem via Dondaparthi, Akkayapalem, Malkapuram and RTC Complex to Old City via Post Office, Jagadamba Junction.
‘Bunny’ website hacked-Pawanism Zindabad comments posted
Bunny’s website was hacked in a shocking manner and hackers in a surprising development posted ‘Pawanism Zindabad’ on the website sending a message that the website security system is weak. If people think that Bunny’s website belongs to Stylish Star Allu Arjun then they are mistaken.
Management of Lakkireddy Balireddy Engineering College located in Mylavaram, Vijayawada is running the site. Hacker who hacked the website after hacking the site posted Pawan Kalyan’s photo and posted that the college website security is weak.
Management of the college informed media that they came to know that their website has been hacked and are concentrating on nabbing the culprits. Now the website is brought back to normal. Recently one mischief monger morphed a currency note and replaced Gandhi’s photo with that of Pawan Kalyan creating a controversy.
Amala’s Experiment Goes Wrong?
The glamour girl of 90’s Amala Akkineni, who made her acting debut with Tamil films and worked with superstars like Rajnikanth (Vellaikaran), Kamalhassan (Satya and Vetrivilla), had gained a fan following, but now with her nondescript role in TV serial “Uyir Mel”, dealing about the lives of 12 doctors, their families and their profession, she has disappointed Tamil thambis’,says a source.
“Amala made a wrong choice. If she really wanted to do Tamil serials, keeping up with her brand image, she could have done it like Radhika or Ramya Krishna, who appear in high-budget serials on Sun TV and portray strong women characters. Her experiment has gone wrong, ” added source. In fact, Amala was supposed to do a TV show sometime back in a Telugu news channel which was backed by UNICEF.
The programme was aimed at children, education, malnutrition and their plight. Later, it didn’t work out for various reasons. The show was on the lines of Aamir Khan’s Satyameva Jayate. Had Amala has debuted with it, it’d had been a mighty launch. Rather Nag’s wife chose a `meek and helpless role of a doctor”which is ‘truly ‘unimpressive’.
Bellamkonda Files Cheating Case against Director
Producer Bellamkonda Suresh is back in news. The latest is that he has lodged a cheating case against director G. Nageshwar Reddy in Banjara Hills police station. According to Suresh, director Nageshwar Reddy (of Dhenikaina Ready fame) has taken an advance of Rs 25 Lakh back in 2011 on commitment of directing a film for Suresh.
However, Nageshwar Reddy neither directed the film nor returned the advance of Rs 25 Lakh, alleged Suresh. Suresh has filed case with Banjara Hills police against Nageshwar Reddy accusing him of cheating and breaching contract. Based on the complaint, police registered a case against the director under IPC Section 420 for cheating, and 406 for criminal breach of trust.
Suresh was recently in news when Manchu Lakshmi and her team did a dharna in front of his house to repay the due amount. However, Suresh in retaliation alleged that Lakshmi’s brother Manoj and father Mohan Babu owe him money as they took advance from him. Both parties have lodged cases against one another and finally, Suresh paid off debts and cleared the issue.
Shriya Saran Paints for Vizag Victims
While Tollywood biggies are planning to do a marathon entertainment show on Nov 30 in Hyderabad to raise funds for the victims of Hudhud, actress Shriya Saran has taken new initiative to garner more funds. The actress will be participating in an art show in Hyderabad on Nov 9 which is aimed at securing funds for Vizag city post Hudhud.
Keeping in this mind, it’s learnt that Shriya Saran has recently painted two paintings in Mumbai within two weeks and they will be donated to November 9 show. While one is the painting of Buddha, the other one is Lord Krishna immersed in nature. We hear that these two paintings have come out very well as Shriya put in her heart in the paintings. Not many know that Shriya is good painter and painting is her hobby right from her childhood.
As she got busy with films, she couldn’t find much time to continue it, but still she hasn’t given it up. It’s definitely good move by Shriya to paint for the victims of Vizag. Meanwhile, Shriya is busy filming for the Pawan Kalyan-Venkatesh starrer Gopala Gopala. She recently made decent comeback withh Akkineni’s multi-starrer Manam. Great going Shriya!
