In a shocker which will scare Hyderabad people, police revealed that an Ex employee from Google planned to join the dreaded militant outfit Islamic State, popularly known as ISIS. 

Police kept the employee under surveillance as they suspected that he was trying to fly to Saudi Arabia to join Islamic State. The 30 year old employee resigned Google a month back and even had visa to go and work in Saudi Arabia. Police are now questioning him over his conversations made on social media. 

Police claim that they found his conversations suspicious and feel that he must have been influenced by the online propaganda. Police are concerned about the developments as already youth from Kolkata, Hyderabad and Mumbai were seen showing interest in joining ISIS.

TDP MLA from Vijayawada Central Bonda Uma has lashed out at beleaguered YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is battling with a slew of cases in Disproportionate Assets. Bonda hit out at Jagan by demanding Centre to confiscate the properties of Jagan. 

Levelling serious allegations against Jagan, Bonda Uma said, “We’re going to file a petition against him (Jagan Reddy) in Supreme Court to fasten up the legal process as the apex court itself had stated Jagan holds over 43,000 crores of illegitimate money belonging to Andhra Pradesh. Whereas his detached assets only account up to Rs 1100 Crore. His aides KVP and Sudhakar Reddy too possess hundreds of Crore including assets in America.” Talking about the TRS-led Telangana government’s alleged injustice to Rayalaseema, Bonda questioned, “Why Jagan is silent on TRS. 

Right from his grandfather to him, Rayalaseema people have been supporting him and his family, yet Jagan is not even uttering a word against KCR and TRS although huge water crisis in Rayalaseema looming large. The scarcity of water is not just for irrigation but also going to have adverse impact on drinking water. Despite this serious situation, Jagan is tight-lipped on the situation. It’s time for people of Rayalaseema to know true colours of Jagan and question him.

According to reports, the first Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu is mulling over to hike taxes in various categories. Naidu, who is short of ideas and funds, seems to be compelled to increase tax charges for land registration, hike in gift deeds, settlement deeds, transition of agricultural land to commercial land, entry tax on goods vehicles, levy of green cess, increasing the capacity of existing distilleries and setting up of new distilleries. In order to increase the revenue for State, Naidu is said to be considering hike of taxes. Although nothing has been confirmed yet.

Naidu reportedly directed government officials to prepare set of proposals in which sectors taxes could be increased without directly hitting common man. Once authorities come up with proposals, they will be tabled in Cabinet meeting and after a proper debate Cabinet may give its nod or turn down it, said a source in the know. 

With government mired in neck-deep financial woes and suffered heavy losses with recent Hudhud cyclone, and Central government too not ready to bail out the State as there was no mention of “Special Status” to AP and no talk about “Financial Package” yet, Naidu is said to be compelled to looking at increase of taxes option in order to increase the revenue of state government. A core economist by nature, Naidu is working out to increase government revenue by not directly affecting poor and Aam Aadmi.
