It became a sparkling and glittering event when hollywood superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger graced his presence alongside Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth for Tamil top director Shankar’s new movie ‘I’s audio launch in Chennai.

And now, Shankar is planning the Telugu version of the audio launch in Hyderabad. If the buzz is to be believed, Megastar chiranjeevi and international star Jackie Chan are likely to grace this star studded event as the chief guests.

More details of this audio launch function are awaited. Amy Jackson played the lover interest of Vikram in ‘I’. Having been made with a whopping budget of Rs.185 crores, the movie’s music was scored by AR Rehaman. Aascar Ravichandran has produced the movie.

Film Industry is highly volatile industry and even big-budget filmmakers can’t control this as every penny matters in the business. One such example is director Puri Jagannadh and Jr NTR’s film which has been battling with several issues before hitting the sets.

Jr NTR-Puri Jagannadh’s movie schedule has been cancelled for record “9 times” so far. A source close to the project spilled the beans, “Till far, the schedule has been cancelled 9 times. Each time they come up with new schedule, they approach artistes for their dates and later inform them that the schedule had been cancelled.

The real reason is the budget issues of the film as major chunk of movie budget is eating out by remunerations of top artistes, technicians.” The movie is produced by Bandla Ganesh under Parameswara Arts. Ganesh is said to be in dilemma as the budget is shooting up with remunerations of Puri and NTR.

Young Tiger Jr NTR and director Puri Jagannath combination new film Neno Rakam latest shooting schedule was supposed to start by today. Apparently, the shooting has been postponed to 25th due to unknown reasons. Meanwhile an interesting news came out from the unit sources.According to sources the film’s Nizam distribution rights were sold for a good amount and Nitin’s distribution company Global Cinemas bagged the rights.

Usually, business for any film starts a month before to its release or hardly when a film is in the middle of shooting. However, Global Cinemas has confidence on NTR’s stamina, hence they have acquired the rights for their region. It is heard that, NTR suggested Puri to take his time and come up with full narration that would satisfy him.

If everything goes well, the movie tentatively titled Neno Rakam will resume in a week days. As we reported earlier, NTR will be seen as atypical cop in the movie.Kajal Agarwal and Madhurima are heroines. Bandla Ganesh is producing the movie for which music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Puri targets the movie to release for Sankranthi, 2015.

Actually, ‘Savithri’ was the title considered for Victory Venkatesh’s movie in direction of Teja under Suresh productions banner. Some how, the project did not take off and the title was left redundant. Looks like Pawan Sadineni negotiated with Suresh camp to bag ‘Savithri’ title for Rohit. The film is set to go on floors from December of this year. Meanwhile, Nara Hero has ‘Rowdy Fellow’ to release soon.

Thespian late Akkineni Nageswara Rao has been honoured by the US Postal Department posthumously. As we reported earlier, the US Postal Service( USPS) has released a postal stamp on Akkineni Nageswara Rao. The Akkineni Foundation of America ( AFA) has revealed this news.  

The latest we heard is that the stamp will be unveiled on December 17 at the International Akkineni Awards Ceremony to be held at Anr College of Gudivada. It’s definitely a fitting tribute to the one of the legends of India. Anr made his debut with ‘Dharmapathni’ in 1941 and was last seen as one of the lead stars in ‘Manam’ of 2014.

The comeback of megastar Chiranjeevi into films has been the biggest mystery to everyone. Recently, Chiru was in the hot seat of the famous game show ‘Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu’ and he said that if he really makes a comeback will the audience see him.

This was in response to a question to the 150th movie. Chiru’s reply evoked a lot of claps and screams in positive. It is something which happened in a closed room environment. But Chiru understood his real stamina recently when he entered into the venue for the recently concluded SIIMA event in Malaysia.

It looks like director Srinu Vytla hasn’t forgotten accusations made by his old friend and writer Kona Venkat before they parted ways, so he took a dig at him, by designing the character of ‘deal maker’ with star comedian Brahmi in his latest offering “Aagadu”. 

Industry source, claims that writer Kona Venkat is reportedly known for setting up ‘deals’ by mediating between-stars-director and producer and stitching up many projects. To expose such acts, Dookudu director took this opportunity and posted all his anger through Brahmi. We all know, that director takes digs at RGV and others in his movies, but this time, he didn’t spare his old pal and attack was strident, add source. 

This could be first of its kind as Telugu Cinema Industry’s hot shot directors never leave a movie to second-unit while first unit is handle by director and second-unit by some co-directors. Seems like, magical writer Trivikram and stylish hero Allu Arjun are rewriting rules only to come up with better output in lesser time.

After enthralling audiences last Summer with ‘Race Gurram’, Bunny is once again aiming for a Summer release. His upcoming movie under Trivikram’s direction got kick-started today and it will hit screens in Summer 2015. Surprisingly, shooting of this flick was on track at two locations simultaneously. Trivikram and Bunny are shooting here in Nanakramguda studios, while action-choreographer is filming a chase at Hyderabad international airport.

Probably, Trivikram wants to finish the movie at brisk pace and every shot was finalized in pre-production itself, such that a second-unit could film certain scenes easily. Samantha and Adah Sharma are playing heroines in this flick, while Kannada star Upendra is donning antagonist’s hat and Sneha will be seen as his wife. 

‘Aagadu’ director Sreenu Vaitla has to face embarrassment today while taking part in a ‘live’ event on a popular news television. While he is explaining about the factors that led to success of ‘Aagadu’, an angry fan on the phone line blasted him for routing the flick with regular formulaic content.

Already Vaitla’s twitter timeline is getting clogged with ‘angry’ tweets and ‘hate’ filled comments as Mahesh Babu’s ‘Aagadu’ failed to meet expectations. Accusing that the director has stuffed super hit ‘Dookudu’ into Aagadu second half, many fans are blasting his ability in guessing the mindsets of cine lovers and fans.

Though TV channel authorities have immediately cut that call, it is still little awkward for the director for sure. Maybe fans should maintain composure as no director will ever make a movie to score an ‘average’ or ‘flop’. It is well known that there will be tremendous competition for the posts in TTD. Chairman post is a coveted one and all politicians and industrialists use all their influence to bag the prized post. 

However in this tough competition, a Tollywood hero is training his guns for the coveted TTD Chairman post. Hero Sivaji who is attracting media attention by taking up public issues and fighting for justice to people, speaking to scribes expressed his wish to become TTD chairman. 

He said he is confident of getting the top post in the TTD. Sources say Sivaji when BJP top brass offered him MLA ticket didnot show any interest in contesting the elections but instead asked the TTD chairman post. Inside talk is BJP promised him to give the same. 

However heavy competition is there for the post and many names like Former MLA of Tirupathi Chadalavada Krishnamurthi, Former MLA of Nagari Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu, MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, Maganti Murali Mohan are doing rounds. CM Chandra Babu Naidu right after coming to power announced to Chadalavada that he would be made TTD chairman but nothing happened till now. 

TDP Govt dissolved TTD committee in August 11 days before its term but till now new committee is not found. Sivaji’s comments is creating sensation in political circles.

NTR and Puri Jagannadh vowed to work nonstop so that the film completes in this three and half months.

However the major problem is with the music director Devi Sri Prasad. He is very busy with various other commitments and clarified the makers that he can not complete the movie work for Sankranthi. It is said that the makers are now planning to give the back ground score department to Mani Sharma so as to ease pressure on Devi Sri Prasad. NTR’s previous films – Ramayya Vasthavayya and Rabhasa are big flops and NTR now desperately wants a hit to make a comeback.

NTR and Puri Jagannadh earlier teamed up for Andhrawala several years ago. There were huge expectations on the movie as it came after a blockbuster,Simhadri. But the film was an utter flop. Later on a film in their combination was on cards for several times but that did not happen. Puri wants to make amends for Andhrawala mistake with this new project. As part of the Manam 100days and Oka Laila Kosam Audio release celebrations, the prestigious ANR National Award for the year 2014 has been announced.ANR National Award for this year goes to none other than Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Notably, Big B played a cameo in ‘Manam’ . Amitabh Bachchan has been chosen for this esteemed award and even Big B agreed to accept this rare honor, according to latest reports.

ANR annual award was instituted in 2005 by the Akkineni International Foundation with an intent to recognise the contribution of stalwarts to the Indian film industry. The award comes with a memento, a citation and a cash prize of Rs. 5 lakh.

The first to be chosen for the ANR National Award was Dev Anand (2005), Shabana Azmi (2006), Anjali Devi (2007), Vyjayantimala Bali (2008), Lata Mangeshkar (2009), K. Balachander (2010), Hema Malini (2011) ;Sridevi (2013), Syam Benegal (2012). Akkineni Nagarjuna and Amitabh share a good relation outside.
