South Indian super star and Talaiver Rajinikanth has moved to the high court opposing the release and screening of a Bollywood film which has been named after him like “Main Hoon Rajinikanth’’ Rajinikanth Wednesday approached the Madras High Court seeking a stay on the release of Hindi film “Main Hoon Rajinikanth” which was used his name directly.

He said the film might defame him and upset his large fan base. Rajinikanth’s complaint said the producer has not approached him for consent or permission to use his super hero image to promote the new film. After hearing the petition, the Madras High Court has granted interim stay against the release of the movie. The case has been posted for hearing on 22 September. It is a very first time in Bollywood perhaps in India where a film is titled after Rajinikanth.

So, as there are chances of portraying the super star and his mannerisms in different way.And this perhaps is the very first incident where Rajinikanth approached the court for justice. Indo-Canadian porn star-turned-actress Sunny Leone has got yet another film in her kitty.The film is titled as One Night Stand in which Sunny Leone plays the role of a girl next-door and she is going to pair opposite to Tollywood actor Rana Daggubati .

The script of One Night Stand, which will be released next year, has been written by Bhavani Iyer who is known for penning down films like Lootera, Guzaarish and Black. This will be the directorial debut of Jasmine D’souza. She is the wife of film-maker Anthony D’Souza who directed Blue (2009) and Boss (2013).Jasmine has had experience directing several ad films in the past.  

Going by the title, the film seems like an erotica fantasy, but it is actually an intense drama.To be produced by Furqan Khan (who produced Welcome Back) and Pradeep Sharma (Khoobsurat), the film will be shot in India and South Africa.

Speculation grew on Tollywood’s great actor NTR who even set a trend in national politics by sweeping to power with in 9 months of starting TDP in Andhra Pradesh will be given Bharata Ratna this year. When AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu and TDP demanded Bharata Ratna for NTR many felt that his name would be recommended for Center and many thought that his closeness with PM Modi will get coveted Bharata Ratna for the great star.

However much to the shock of all, AP govt didnot recommend NTR’s name for Bharata Ratna. In the same movie, Sharwanand is sharing screen with Nitya for the second time after their unreleased flick ‘Emito Ee Maya’. However, we have to see if he is essaying any father role or just Nitya’s mom character is limited to certain scenes and Sharwa appears in flashback.
