Tamanna who was offered Ram charan’s next flick with Krishna vamsi later she lost her place all of a sudden and Kajal came to spot light, It’s said that Kajal played many back ground works to get that chance says industry.

However she now back praises Tollywood saying “Only Tollywood can save me anytime and that’s the only field which gave me life“. Are these words just for name sake or will she continue to respect and stay in Tollywood forever is a big question left behind.

YSR statue burnt in Hyd

Unknown miscreants set the statue of former chief minister late YS Rajasekhara Reddy on fire near Ramnagar bridge of Adikpet in Hyderabad in the wee hours of Saturday. According to reports, some unidentified persons reportedly poured petrol on the statue and set it ablaze. The statue was burnt to ashes and it was completely destroyed.

YSRCP leaders lodged a complaint with the police and demanded that the miscreants be identified and sternly punished.

Sukumar must take some lessons from Trivikram

Trivikram used to be very slow in wrapping up his films in the past. He used to take more than a year and sometimes two to complete one film. He received so much flak for taking about three years for Mahesh’s Khaleja. He took two years to complete Athadu and Jalsa too. Producer Murali Mohan openly said that Athadu was a cost failure due to the budget being shot beyond estimations.

After Khaleja, Trivikram did some retrospect and changed his style of making films. He is not a snail paced director anymore. He has wrapped up Julayi and Attarintiki Daredi within seven months. Julayi became a super hit and AD went on to become the new industry hit. Trivikram made sure that his speed doesn’t kill the quality of his films. He also stated that he will not take more time for shooting hereafter. He is doing all the work in the pre production stage and going to sets with a clear idea of what to do and when to do.Director Sukumar, who is also extremely talented, has this problem of taking so many working days. He keeps on making betterments on the sets and make changes to the already shot portions too. This is extra load on the producers and it is not a safe thing to do as they may face too much loss if the film fails to connect with the audiences. Looks like this Maths Lecturer need some extra lessons from Trivikram, who also hails from Bhimavaram, the same town where Sukumar worked as a lecturer.

We have reported earlier that Srikanth is going to replace Venkatesh in Ram Charan, Krishna Vamsi film. Venkatesh walked out of this film as he is not satisfied with the way his character was etched. After repeated attempts to convince Venkatesh, the director has finally given up and decided to go with Srikanth.

Krishna Vamsi and Srikanth share a nice rapport as they have worked for Khadgam and Mahatma in the past. Srikanth himself confirmed that he is playing an important character in Ram Charan, Krishna Vamsi film. No one including producer Badla Ganesh announced about Srikanth’s presence in the movie till now.

Srikanth says that he is doing an entertaining character in this film which needs an actor with a hero image. Krishna Vamsi asked Srikanth to grow hair for this character. Srikanth believes that this film could bring him new identity and image as an actor. He is happy to share screen with Charan as he also did few films with Chiranjeevi. This film will be launched on 15th of this month. Kajal is going to play Charan’s love interest in it.

The new trailers of Sankranthi releases 1 Nenokkadine and Yevadu are out and both the films focused on setting right expectations on the films. 1 Nenokkadine is primarily an action thriller with intense action and high quality production values. This film doesn’t bear commercial values and Sukumar made sure that the trailer puts the film in the right light.

On the other hand Yevadu film is also an action drama with right mix of commercial elements. There will be powerful dialogues, heroism and also Brahmanandam in it. Yevadu has three leading ladies and there wouldn’t be any shortage of glamour and masala in the film. Even the audios of the film are entirely different albeit being composed by the same music director.

We have to wait and see if the age old commercial formula or the new age technical excellence gets the attention of audiences this festive season. As of now we can clearly see that 1 Nenokkadine is a film that will appeal to urban audiences and Yevadu is targeted at masses. How much do they appeal to other sections of the audience will play the role in the success of these respective movies.

In a rather surprise twist the CPI state secretary K Narayana says that between BJP PM candidate Narender Modi or Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the PM was a more dangerous person. ‘Manmohan has made Rahul Gandhi his heir to the ill gotten and corrupt wealth, Narayana said.

‘How can Manmohan declare Rahul as an outstanding and fit candidate for Prime Minister post as if such a nomination is a prerogative of the ruling party and only scion of the Gandhi family was a cut above every seasoned politician in the country.

Narayana said Rahul during his two terms as MP has shown how immature and childish he is to blame the opposition for stalling Parliament. ‘Is it not Rahul Gandhi who tore up an Ordinance at a press conference of a Union Minister? Is not such an act anti-government and anti-democratic’, asks Narayana. at Visakhapatnam.

Narayana also chided seemandhra leaders for stalling a debate on Telangana Bill in the assembly. ‘All those now fighting for Samaikyandhra (be it Jagan, Kiran or even Chandrababu) all were using the slogan for their personal and political gains’ he said.

TRS leader Etela Rajender said How can seemandhra leaders stage diksa and plan to stall Telangana on our land. ‘Khabardhar Seemandhra MPs we will not allow you to pass any resolution for Seemandhra, before you complete the debate on Telangana Bill and send it Delhi.

Seemandhra Minister T G Venkatesh said the Sridhar Babu has been made a scape goat and guinea pig by Telangana minsiters and lobby. ‘If they feel there is injustice to Telangana all of the T ministers should resign and not just Sridhar Babu, he said.

Ponnala Lakshmaiah said if all Telangana ministers resign, the Seemandhra ministers will have to shut down their shops in Hyderabad and run away.

Mahesh’s Athadu Bags 3.5 Cr after 8 years

Directed by Trivikram and featuring Mahesh and Trisha in the lead, ‘Athadu’ released on August 10th, 2005 and with time it gained cult status. If your ears could believe, this flick hasn’t lost its sharpness even after getting close to 8 years of release.

The tenure of Mahesh Babu’s 2005 thriller flick ‘Athadu’ got expired few months back. This is in connection with the satellite rights owned by MAA TV, for airing Athadu on small screen. People who watch MAA TV a lot usually watch Athadu a lot as that flick is kept playing on the channel at least a couple of times in a month. what is surprising is that family audiences still watch Athadu on TV whenever it is aired. Keeping this demand in mind, it is heard that MAA TV has brought Athadu rights for second time for 8 years tenure. To renew the contract, the popular entertainment channel has reportedly paid 3.5 crores for the makers.

No doubt, this is another record in the kitty of Mahesh whose ‘1 Nenokkadine’ holds the record of a movie that got sold for highest ever price for satellite rights at 13 crores.

With Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Attarintiki Daredi getting ready to finish its 100 days run at box office by January 4th, some interesting discussions are going on in Film Nagar. That too some posters pasted all over the state are turning heads now.

Special 100 days posters of Attarintiki Daredi now adore the whole of media bringing a festival color to tinsel town. Written and directed by Trivikram, AD created magic at box office by collecting more than what previous industry hit ‘Magadheera’ collected. Though there are contrary reports about the final collections, many trade analysts agreed with 85 crores as final figure of the gross collections. However, what is surprising is that the 100 days posters released on web are not having any numbers, but the posters pasted on walls in cities and towns read ‘100 years history, 100 crore wonder’ (100 samvatsarala charitra, 100 kotla prabhanjanam). So what does it mean?

Is producer BVSN Prasad trying to say that the final gross collections of Attarintiki Daredi have collected 100 Crores? If so, why is that not printed on posters given to media houses? Analysts say that there is no way AD could have collected 100 Crores even if satellite rights and audio rights prices are included. We have to see what producers will say about this!

Gabbar Singh 2 – Auditions Going On!!

Pawan Kalyan’s industry hit Attarintiki Daredi is completing 100 days on January 4th, but still there is no news of his next movie. Though it is quite known that Powerstar is gearing up to deliver second edition of the most popular Gabbar Singh, an official confirmation will keep fans happy.

Director Sampath Nandi has successfully completed two years of waiting for Powerstar and finally the flick may go to floors in a month or so. There is a word now from persons close to the unit of this yet to be started movie. Buzz says that Pawan Kalyan and his team are right now busy with auditions in Mumbai in order to zero on the lead girl for this movie. They are actually auditioning popular models and ladies from beauty pageant to round out their Bhagyalakshmi. Though a spicy Bollywood starlet is supposed to jump on board, Pawan has finally felt that a new girl will do much better. As he got this habit of introducing new heroines anyway, even director Sampath Nandi and producer Sarath Marar have felt okay with the idea.

Apart from finalizing heroine, it is heard that rest of the crew got finalized. Music will be scored by Devi Sri Prasad for Gabbar Singh 2, while Jayanan Vincent is picked up as cinematographer. Script is locked finally with no changes to make, and the producers might release an official statement soon.

Charan’s public entry after 4 months!

Interacting with media helps a celebrity reach far better and inside into audiences. But young megastar Ram Charan is not doing that for a while, as he quite disturbed with few things in professional career.
