Having got Telangana leader and legislative affairs minister D Sridhar Babu out of the way, Kiran plans to push his agenda in the assembly “The bifurcation process will be stalled,” he told seemandhra MLAs who met him and assured them there’s no need to become nervous on the issue any more.

According to sources, the CM’s game plan with the new legislative minister S Sailajanath pilot  is to sand bag the Speaker Speaker Nadendla Manohar in a spot and ensure that the TDP, YSRC etc would either remain silent or abstain during the designs.Once the resolution is moved, it’ll be easily passed in view of the numerical strength of Seemandhra MLAs.The issue still to be decided is when CM will move the resolution two week period of this session’ said sources.

The Seemandhra camp  has charged the  troika of Babu, deputy chief minister C Damodar Rajanarasimha and deputy speaker Bhatti Vikramarka of introducing the debate on the Bill in haste in the absence of the CM. “Now Sailajanath, as the new legislative affairs minister, will ensure such actions meant to benefit the Telangana region will not happen.” ,they said.

The Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is being speculated to announce his resignation at a press conference on January 3rd even as senior leaders say this will set the stage for the projection of Rahul Gandhi as the Congress party’s PM candidate.

Land owners who own properties within 300 meters of the proposed Hyderabad metro rail stations can soon utilize their properties for commercial purpose as per the new guidelines issued by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA).

This new rule entails that owners can now use their property for developing malls, hotels, restaurants, service apartments, office spaces, hospitals, high street retail business, health clubs, entertainment zones or hostels in addition to residential purposes.
Officials have reportedly identified 19 areas in the city for such development — Miyapur, Kukatpally, Balanagar, Ameerpet, Moosapet, Bharatnagar, Punjagutta, Erramanzil, Khairatabad, Nampally, Rasoolpura, Hitec City, Nagole/Uppal, Tarnaka, Mettuguda, Parade Grounds, Raidurg, LB Nagar and Moosarambagh.
These were reportedly finalized based on parameters like densification, scope for redevelopment, pedestrian facility, access to transit stations parking space and multi-modal transportation.

Penalty For Mahesh Babu’s Brother

Pronouncing a verdict in a Censor certificate related case, a Court directed Mahesh Babu’s brother Ramesh Babu to pay a fine of Rs 25,000. Additional judge of 9th Metropolitan magistrate court pronounced the judgement.

Earlier, Mahesh Babu’s brother Ramesh who happens to be the producer of disastrous flick ‘Athidi’ featuring the younger brother as hero has released the movie without adding Censor Certificate to the final print. According to rules, no film should be released without adding a Censor certificate issued by the Censor board to it. With Ramesh Babu accepting his fault that he failed to check before release whether Censor certificate is attached or not, Court asked him to pay fine.

Ramesh Babu produced ‘Athidi’ on Krishna Productions banner, while UTV Motion Pictures co-produced and distributed the flick.
