For any star hero to score big success at the box office, the presence of comedy has become very important. And for comedy to be good, the best comedians have to be there. The first preference always goes to Brahmanandam. And his combination with director Sreenu Vaitla was responsible for many blockbusters.

Films like ‘Dhee’ ‘Ready’ ‘Dookudu’ created a lot of records. But now, one question has come up. It is heard that Sreenu Vaitla is currently busy with preparing the shooting for his new film ‘Aagadu’ and he is reportedly not looking at Brahmanandam in this film. Sources say Vaitla wants to prove his talent without Brahmi.

In a way it is a different attempt but can ‘Aagadu’ really succeed without Brahmi? There is the Mahesh Babu factor but without a strong comedy track and that too in Vaitla’s films, it is difficult. Though nothing is officially confirmed, it is a big challenge for the team of ‘Aagadu’ if Brahmi is really not there.

There are no complaints on the young tiger’s performance or his contribution but it is going wrong with the director selection and storyline. With this, it is heard that Junior NTR has decided to clean up the whole thing. As a result, buzz is that he has gone into some series of serious meetings with few groups. All this is happening very secretly, as per sources.

First in that list are his fans. It is heard that Junior NTR is very seriously taking the feedback from them and what kind of films he must choose to pick up. He is also working on what problems his fans are facing. He is now busy with the shooting of his new movie ‘Rabhasa’ so let us hope his groundwork really fetches him a blockbuster soon.

Latest buzz is that director Dasarath who scored flop with Nag’s Greekuveerudu is now narrating a script to Charan. Another director, Karunkaran is also heard meeting Mega Powerstar the other day to convince him for a project.

All these directors are not at their best form at the moment, but provided with proper star support, they will no doubt score big blockbusters. Let us whom Charan will pick and what he deliver for his gigantic mega fans.

Even the middle class people feel that Pawan Kalyan is an honest man. During the recent agitations in Seemandhra region, many felt that Pawan Kalyan can be the leader to lead them. A political analyst said “Pawan Kalyan may not float a new party after closely looking at the fate of Chiranjeevi’s party. He may join with some existing party and he is not a great supporter of Congress party. So he will have to choose between TDP and YSRCP. If that’s the case, he will definitely go with TDP as Pawan openly opposed YSR’s administration during 2009 election campaign. Recently I have seen few hoardings being erected for Attarintiki Daredi movie by TDP leaders. Have you seen TDP leaders supporting Pawan Kalyan’s movie in the past? Even Pawan’s maradalu started speaking about liplocks. She says she will decide whether to sign the film or not based on the script and not on liplocks. She says she is not unduly smitten by glamour but pays only little attention to her beauty. Praneetha says she will be very happy when someone recognises her.

Buzz is Ram Charan who is keen to erase is Toofan/Zanjeer debacle is hearing stories from many directors and Dasarath who narrated a story to Cherry, impressed him to the core. Cherry promised Dasarath that he will do the film at any cost.

Buzz is the film will go to sets simultaneously along with Krishna Vamsi’s multi starrer with Ram Charan and Venkatesh. Ram Charan’s Yevadu is also waiting for release. Dasarath earlier came with Greeku Veerdu with Nagarjuna.

Linguswamy is a very good commercial director, who has great command over mass elements. He has made many hits in Tamil, which were also successful in Telugu. Run, Pandem Kodi, Aawara were few of Linguswami’s hits in Telugu. His films like Anandam and Vettai were remade as Sankranthi and Tadhaka and both were successful. Linguswamy has been trying to expand his market by making a movie with Telugu superstar.

He recently met and narrated a single line story to NTR, who is impressed with it. NTR who has been chasing directors that delivered hits in Telugu has agreed to work with Linguswamy for a change. This film will be made in Tamil with Suriya and in Telugu with NTR. Samantha will play the female lead in both the versions. Stay tuned for more details on this project.

‘Though the result is not of expected range, Ramayya Vastavayya is a commercial hit that awards me some profit’, said Dil Raju, adding that there are many reasons for the negative talk. ‘Actually people expect family entertainers from our banner Sri Venkatewsara Creations. As we have got reputation for such film, that became drawback for Ramayya. Though they felt first half is superb, in second half they got upset with action, and dose of violence’, he asserts. Also he felt that expectations on director Harish Shankar are also another cause for negative talk.

‘After Gabbar Singh, expectations are huge on Harish and he met them in first half of Ramayya. Audience enjoyed new and never before kind of NTR’s characterization, but got disconnected in second half as Harish hasn’t reached their expectations’, Dil Raju said. ‘With days passing, audiences are calling first half as superb, and second half as good. That will give good profits to us in no time’, he concluded.

When asked about the selection of actress Nadhiya for the pivotal role Atha (paternal aunt) to Pawan in the film, director Trivikram was all smiles.

He shared, ‘After narrating the story to Pawan, his immediate question was who will play the Athar role. I said it’d be Nadhiya. Pawan had given his nod immediately. We have roped in her two years before we start the shooting of the film. By then, she had done only a Tamil film and Nadhiya hadn’t signed even Mirchi. I told the whole story to her over phone and she said okay and I said that I’ll ask her dates once our schedule is planned.’

Writer-director recalled, ‘As soon as Pawan saw Nadhiya on sets, Pawan said our choice was perfect. But while shooting scenes with Nadhiya, I used to laugh out loud due to her dialogue delivery. Since she wasn’t perfect in Telugu, I’d used to laugh whenever she tried to mouth dialogue. Nadhiya complained to Pawan garu that she can’t do the scene if Trivikram is there on sets. Then Pawan took over the charge and sent me out and he directed the whole scene. I came after a while and saw the output and said okay.’

Manchu Vishnu stated the other day that he will remake ‘Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari’ movie if Charan shows no interest in it. ‘If Charan fails to take up Jagadekaveerudu remake as a legacy, then I will get into that shoes for sure’, said Vishnu. No doubt, Mohan Babu will be producing this movie even if Vishnu is the hero of the flick. In that way, people are saying that Mohan Babu has eyed on Chiru’s blockbuster movie directed by veteran K Raghavendra Rao. For now we have seen Vishnu’s thoughts, but it will be interesting to see if Mohan Babu too feels that he should remake that movie.

But all these pep talks are surely worrying Mega fans who are out there waiting to see Charan get into Chiru’s suit at least with movies like Khaidi, Gangleader and Jagadadekaveerudu. We have to see how Charan responds on Vishnu’s idea.
