People may hate or love him but YSR was a phenomena. Filmmakers till recently praised or criticised him indirectly on silver screen. However this time senior director P.Chandrasekhar Reddy is getting ready to make a film on late CM YS.Rajasekhar Reddy.

In this film ‘Jagannayakudu’ Suman well be seen as YSR ,while Amani and Raja will be seen as Vijayamma and Jagan. Hunt is on for actress to play Sharmila’s role.Chandrasekhar Reddy directed films like Badipantulu and Paadi Pantalu with NTR and Krishna.

Anjali Prefers Performance than Glamour

Is it possible for anjali to become a top heroine of South film industry without exposing a bit of skin? Can Anjalli at least become a contender for Queen of Tollywood with films like �Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu� and �Golmaal�? Definitely a strong no will be the answer. We have seen even moderate artists like Soundarya asserting to skin shows in order keep her self in demand. If not we can say Glamour Show as minimum requirement for any heroine to keep her market stable!

�I can see many Queens in Tollywood now. So, I do not want to be one among them. My quest is only to accept for performance oriented characters. This will be the way I selected to go on top. It is easy to acquire the image of Glam Doll but it is hard to earn the image of a Performer. I prefer the second one rather than first,� anjali explained.

Ramcharan in Troubles with HRC

As per the order from Human Rights Commission, the Banjara Hills Police have committed a full fledged investigation on ramcharan assaulting the software engineers at Taj Krishna Hotel. The issue has come to headlines ever since Charan has reported media that he was absent on spot when his gunmen manhandled the victims. However, the victims never filed a case in Police Station and that is why Police did not book Charan under any sections.

Finally, Banjara Hills Police submitted the report to HRC mentioning that ramcharan was well at the brawl spot and those gunmen who were in the assault belonged to Chiranjeevi. �HRC will take the case forward depending upon the response and future course of action from victims,� HRC chairman Peddi Perireddy said. However, Cherry says that his image was morphed in the video and photo footage presented in media channels.

‘Yevadu’ Audio relaese OK , Movie release?

Finally, Mega Power Star ram charan’s ‘Yevadu’ audio release date has been confirmed as 30th of June, officially. However, the makers of this movie seem to have been in doldrums about its release date. While some of the film nagar sources are saying that the movie hits the screens on 24th of July, some more people are saying that the movie will be released in the month of September only. Since Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Aththarintiki Daaredi’ is slated for release on 7th August, ‘Yevadu’ is expected to be postponed by them. The makers should take a wise decision of releasing the movie at the earliest, otherwise entire planning of the release dates of mega movies will be collapsed.

Sensuous beauty Shruthi Haasan is seen opposite to ram charan in ‘Yevadu’. Amy Jackson plays the second heroine. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music of the film. Vamsi Pydipalli directed the movie while Dil Raju produced it on Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Glamour is one word which is not only ruling the hearts of Telugu movie going public but also Politics. Yes, entry of udayabhanu into politics is the latest buzz in film circles. May be for the first time in Andhra Pradesh, we are to witness a hot TV anchor getting an MLA seat. If the grapevine from film nagar is believed, Bharatiya Janatha Party looking for possible contestants from all the constituencies in state is also in discussions with udayabhanu on accepting the seat. In fact, we hear that udayabhanu who hails from Karimnagar district has a political family backdrop as his father served as Sarpanch from Koheda.

Well, udayabhanu may take some more time to decide on whether to enter or not to enter into politics but the call from BJP is by itself an achievemnt for her. In order to see herself on top of TV circuit, she even left out many film offers. Of course, she is doing the lead heroine in ‘Madhumathi.’ How wise is udayabhanu to quit the TV arena for the sake of Politics? Is this a simple gossip or a reality? Time will decide. Akkineni fans have been waiting eagerly for King Nagarjuna’s son Akkineni Akhil’s silver screen debut. A trailer kind of information was given by Nagarjuna who stated that Akhil’s entry will be in a grand manner this year.

Still suspence is on as to who will direct his film. At first Rajamouli’s name cropped up before Sekhar Kammula entered the scene. According to the latest, Rajamouli’s protege will direct Akhil. All these are mere speculations to reduce the heat generated with the suspense, but official confirmation from King is yet to come.

I Love to work with Mahesh – Vamsi Paidipally

Telugu director Vamsi Paidipally, who is gearing up for the release of Telugu action-drama “Yevadu”, has expressed interest in working with superstar Mahesh Babu. However, he is not sure when such a project will materialise.

“I would love to work with Mahesh, but I’m not sure when will that happen. It might take time because he is already busy with two projects. I just want to focus on the release of ‘Yevadu’ for now and leave the rest for later,” Vamsi told.

Mahesh Babu is currently shooting in Europe for Telugu action “1: Nenokkadine”, and he will soon team up with Srinu Vaitla for “Aagadu”. Mahesh is also expected to work with Telugu director Krish for a film titled “Shivam”, which will also feature Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha.

“Yevadu”, featuring Ram Charan Teja, Shruti Haasan and Amy Jackson in the lead, is scheduled for release July 25. It is produced by Dil Raju.

In the press meet held in Chennai to share his happiness over the success of ‘TVSK’ (‘Something Something’), Sid spoke about his lady Samantha and displayed his love for the golden-leg beauty.

To a question on who was sweeter among her ‘Something Something’ co-stars Samantha and Hansika, Siddharth immediately replied,’Undoubtedly, Sam is the sweetest’ and later tried to cover his answer saying ‘because she speaks Tamil’.

When asked about his long-pending marriage, the actor admitted that he really wants to marry but being too busy with film assignments is giving no time to tie the knot at present. Seems like this celebrity wedding mayn’t happen in the next one year.

Raviteja who is eagerly waiting for the release of his mass entertainer ‘Balupu’ which is carrying good pre-release buzz has shared his views on various things during the media interaction.

On reacting to the reports of launching a production house of his own, Raviteja declared he has no such plans and questioned why should one do the thing which he isn’t good at? However, he didn’t rule out the chances of wielding the megaphone. ‘I have plans to become a director one day. But, don’t know when it would happen,’ confirms the energetic star.

The actor admitted that his past few films have been failures and also claimed he is the one who always lives in present, stressing success and failure isn’t permanent.

Raviteja made it clear he has no plans of experimenting and wishes to be part of entertaining films only from now. ‘If ‘Dongala Muta’ had been successful, I would have done a lot of such films. I have no plans to experiment any more,’ clarifies the actor, who is open to multi-starrers provided good script.

Nag Confirms Akhil’s Debut Time

For a long while we have been hearing that King Nagarjuna’s younger son akhil would be making his debut to tollywood soon. But still there had been no clarity of muhurtham of his entry into tollywood. At last, Nagarjuna himself has tried to give some clarity on the debut of his son. Nagarjuna attended as one of the guests of Sushanth’s ‘Adda’ movie’s audio launch, held on 22nd June.

He said, ” You(fans) attended the audio launch of ‘Greeku Veerudu’ and Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Tadakha’ this year. Now, I assure you that you will attend the audio launch of akhil’s debut film next year for sure.” With this revelation it can be understood that akhil’s debut movie will be releasing next year and it may go on floors later this year.

Meanwhile Padma Vibhushan Akkineni Nageswara Rao attended as the chief guest of ‘Adda’. Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, Sumanth also graced the occasion. The audio function was a successful with some scintillating dancing numbers performed by dancers and some skits exhibited by the artists. KTR Lodges Defamation Suit On ABN

As pledged by him the other day, TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao’s son K Taraka Ramarao has lodged a defamation suit on ABN Andhrajyothy news channel and news paper. He lodged a petition in Nampally Court in connection with this.

Earlier ABN channel and newspaper published reports that apparently stated that KTR was involved in land settlements and also stressed that they have full proofs of the happenings including KTR’s involvement. TRS leaders however responded to this story saying both TDP chief Naidu and ABN MD Radhakrishna joined hands to malign the chances of TRS in the region. ABN channel however welcomed the decision taken by KTR and confirmed that they are ready to provide supporting evidences for their story. We have to see the ‘turning points’ of this issue now.

Responding the petition lodged by KTR, Nampally court has adjourned the hearing for tomorrow. Maybe ABN and Radha Krishna will be directed to file a counter petition against the allegation.

Great! Naidu Arranges Special Flight

With Chandrababu Naidu going to Delhi and meeting Uttarkhand victims and other Telugu people at AP Bhavan, Congress party started blaming that the TDP President is politicizing the issue. Also they started blaming that as Naidu is not in power he cannot do anything in Uttarakhand. But here is what this most charismatic leader will do.

It is not matter of politics, and it is not matter of attracting people. When it comes to Telugudesam president Chandrababu Naidu, it is always a matter of humanity and serving people is his priority. Like no other politician in this state, Naidu has now arranged a special flight for people who are finding it difficult to reach Hyderabad from Delhi after escaping the calamity in Uttarakhand. A special flight to carry 198 passengers will air lift them to Hyderabad and from there TDP cadres will make arrangement to go to their respective native places. Also Telugudesam is arranging special call centres to monitor the happenings.

The flight is scheduled to take off from Delhi today evening and the entire expense for these arrangements will be taken up by Telugudesam party only. Has anyone in the state and any other political party has come up with such an initiative? So, TDP’s detractors should at least try to understand what are politics and what is humanity.

10-Years Jail Term for Star Hero?

Bollywood star Salman Khan might face a 10-year jail term in the hit-and-run case that took place in the year 2002.

On Monday, A Mumbai court has delivered the verdict that Salman’s hit-and-run case will be treated as ‘culpable homicide not amounting to murder’ and the actor will be imprisoned for 10 years if the charges leveled against him were proven. He was given a month’s time to appear in court.

In 2002, Salman has allegedly rammed his Toyota Land Cruiser vehicle onto a pavement near a bakery, ended up killing a person and causing severe injuries to four others. The actor was drunk at that time and the blood samples showed 60 mg alcohol which is beyond the permissible limit.

In the FIR, a charge of ‘death by negligence’ (section 304A of IPC) was leveled against the actor initially, that provides a maximum of two years in jail. In January this year, the court that’s been handling the case felt that police has provided enough evidence to upgrade the charges and changed it to ‘culpable homicide not amounting to murder’ which is a serious crime. Salman filed a petition challenging the decision of magistrate to upgrade his case. In a major setback to the star, the sessions court has now ruled out the chances of reducing the charges leveled against him. The final judgement will be pronounced in the next few months.
