Raviteja who is eagerly waiting for the release of his mass entertainer ‘Balupu’ which is carrying good pre-release buzz has shared his views on various things during the media interaction.

On reacting to the reports of launching a production house of his own, Raviteja declared he has no such plans and questioned why should one do the thing which he isn’t good at? However, he didn’t rule out the chances of wielding the megaphone. ‘I have plans to become a director one day. But, don’t know when it would happen,’ confirms the energetic star.

The actor admitted that his past few films have been failures and also claimed he is the one who always lives in present, stressing success and failure isn’t permanent.

Raviteja made it clear he has no plans of experimenting and wishes to be part of entertaining films only from now. ‘If ‘Dongala Muta’ had been successful, I would have done a lot of such films. I have no plans to experiment any more,’ clarifies the actor, who is open to multi-starrers provided good script.

 

With Chiranjeevi’s donation of Rs.1 crore from MPLADS and one month of his salary and Pawan Kalyan’s very first attempt showing his charity of Rs.24 lakhs to the victims of Himalayan Tsunami, mega fans seem to have got motivated to a greater extent from their heroes. Buzz is that a huge campaigning is going on among mega fans for collecting donations to the flood affected people. Rs.25 lakhs has been set as the target of funds. These donations will be sent to PM Relief Fund through ‘Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust’.

Meanwhile, mega fans have set a rare record among the fans of other heroes at all India level. Long back, they collected Rs.3 lakhs funds for the Gujarat earthquake victims and donated the same to then Prime Minister, Mr.Atal Bihari Vajpayee by hand.

For a long while we have been hearing that King Nagarjuna’s younger son akhil would be making his debut to tollywood soon. But still there had been no clarity of muhurtham of his entry into tollywood. At last, Nagarjuna himself has tried to give some clarity on the debut of his son. Nagarjuna attended as one of the guests of Sushanth’s ‘Adda’ movie’s audio launch, held  on 22nd June. 

 

He said, ” You(fans) attended the audio launch of ‘Greeku Veerudu’ and Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Tadakha’ this year. Now, I assure you that you will attend the audio launch of akhil’s debut film next year for sure.” With this revelation it can be understood that akhil’s debut movie will be releasing next year and it may go on floors later this year.

Meanwhile Padma Vibhushan Akkineni Nageswara Rao attended as the chief guest of ‘Adda’. Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, Sumanth also graced the occasion. The audio function was a successful with some scintillating dancing numbers performed by dancers and some skits exhibited by the artists. Anup Rubens has composed youthful tunes for this youth and mass entertainer.

Stunning the aged-top stars in the Industry, Kajal who turned 28 recently announced her birthday resolution. “During my initial days in the Film Industry, I had done films with newcomers and upcoming heroes. I have consciously decided not to do that any more. I will be doing films only opposite leading heroes, befitting my current status. The heroes I would be paired opposite should not only be top stars but also must be young enough. This will be my first condition,” revealed the beauty.

Although most of actresses of her league follow the same rule, none would dare to make it public. In that way, Kajal is brave enough to speak her heart out. Let’s she how well she sticks to her plans!

 

Bollywood star Salman Khan might face a 10-year jail term in the hit-and-run case that took place in the year 2002.

On Monday, A Mumbai court has delivered the verdict that Salman’s hit-and-run case will be treated as ‘culpable homicide not amounting to murder’ and the actor will be imprisoned for 10 years if the charges leveled against him were proven. He was given a month’s time to appear in court.

In 2002, Salman has allegedly rammed his Toyota Land Cruiser vehicle onto a pavement near a bakery, ended up killing a person and causing severe injuries to four others. The actor was drunk at that time and the blood samples showed 60 mg alcohol which is beyond the permissible limit.

In the FIR, a charge of ‘death by negligence’ (section 304A of IPC) was leveled against the actor initially, that provides a maximum of two years in jail. In January this year, the court that’s been handling the case felt that police has provided enough evidence to upgrade the charges and changed it to ‘culpable homicide not amounting to murder’ which is a serious crime. Salman filed a petition challenging the decision of magistrate to upgrade his case. In a major setback to the star, the sessions court has now ruled out the chances of reducing the charges leveled against him. The final judgement will be pronounced in the next few months.

 

By saying she has no issues with anyone of her contemporary actresses, Anjali cleverly came up with satires on the leading glam dolls in the Industry.

To a question on why she was only doing homely roles onscreen in one of her recent interviews, Anjali opined that anyone can be a glam doll and the actresses who are bagging big ticket films are able to do so solely on the merit of being glamorous. ‘I want to carve a niche for myself in the Industry by playing performance oriented roles. I will never sign a film which follows the ‘four songs, two scene’ formula. I have been like this since my debut and even audience expect the same from me. I can’t let them down,’ the actress added.

In the end, Anjali clarified she isn’t averse to playing glamorous roles but would consider them at a later stage in her career. Right now, she is keen on establishing herself as an actress with substance.

When asked if she is competing for the title ‘Queen of Tolywood’, Our onscreen Seetha stated there are so many queens right now and I don’t know about the race they have been part of! She even ruled out the chances of competing with anyone, instead wants to be a known as a good actor.
